I read a spoiler that he forgets everything after their first meeting when he gets his memory back. I hope this isn't true because I then would not be so motivated to continue watching. I hate amnesia plotlines and made an exception for this because I liked the concept of him thinking he is someone else from the past but this usual amnesia storyline which might happen after, is not something I can bear

I really hate the housemaid Nang Prik. Am I the only one? Never saw her mentioned here but for me she is the worst character. Just seeing her makes me angry. I am episode 18 right now, Ugh.

Thought I am the only one. I am in episode 3 right now and I think I am going to drop it. The FL's brother annoys me every time he is on screen which he is a lot. I like the FL alright but I am starting to dislike the ML as well. I was waiting for it to improve and was hanging on because of good ratings.

This is something that annoys me! She mistrusts ML all the time but never questions prince an once despite her master having warned her about him once. Smh

I feel the dropping. I love to watch them anyways to a point where I then drop them. But I thought I share with you, the few ones I actually finished:
The Untamed (the best thing I have ever watched and didn't think of dropping it once after the first 10 eps, they were confusing me a bit since it was my first cdrama and had zero knowledge about all this cultivation and culture)
Story of Yanxi Palace (smart and strong FL, in the beginning I had to get used to her boldness but then I really came to enjoy it)
The Romance of Tiger and Rose (much lighter drama, quick watch)
Princess Weiyoung (skipped through the lovey dovey scenes between FL and ML though bc I found them boring, it is fun to watch if you take it with humour that everyone blames FL for everything, but the reason why I loved the drama is that the FL is ACTUALLY smart and capable and always comes up with something, very rare in Cdrama. Either FL is stupid or is suppossed to be smart but is actually not)

My hugest issue with dubbing is the FL dubbing. Like you said they have most of them time this annoying high pitched child voices that are painful to listen too and especially the female voices don't manage the sounds well. Like the sighing, laughing, giggling and especially the breathing often sounds very unnatural (often also too loud). But I love the dubbing in the Untamed. I think that is the only show that comes to my mind where I really loved it.

Same. And I guess Yalkun Merxat is 2nd ML which is the worst since I get usually 2nd lead syndrome when he is the 2nd lead. I don't know if I should give it a try

Should I start watching this? I was really interested but I hate amnesia plotlines and her it sounds especially stupid. But I am looking for a historical romance with a smart FL and maybe this has it? But not sure if it is worth even trying because of the amnesia
