I think at the end of the ep 6 the ML was about to confess, like an angry confession, because of his emotion being piled up, and the way FL asked but was interrupted because of her ex that's why he says in the preview "Why did you show up here ? And why now of all times?" and also "I'll make sure to say it this time" so maybe we are getting a confession in ep 7-8 (I hate that we were robbed for the angry confession).

I thought the same too like we were about a get a angry confession from him with his piled up but her ex interrupted at the exact moment that's why the ML says "Why did you show up here ? And why now of all times?"
