A frustrating finale that completely killed my interest for Season
From the very beginning, I struggled with how derogatory his language was toward his student. that immediately put me off. However, it was the ending that I hated the most. The plot point of his wife sleeping with someone over 30 years younger than her made me incredibly uncomfortable. Even though they are both technically consenting adults, the romantic execution felt entirely wrong. That being said, it doesn't excuse the husband's actions either. He was a terrible partner who remained deeply obsessed with his first love long after marriage, even going as far as to steal competition questions just to fulfill his own selfish wishes. Still, if his wife had truly fallen out of love, she should have left him properly instead of cheating with someone young enough to be her son.
What broke the character dynamics for me completely was the interaction regarding Lee Gang. After everything Lee Gang did to him, I couldn't understand why he was still willing to sit there and listen to another one of his stories; if it were me, I would have punched him and walked away. Furthermore, what he said to his wife about young Lee Gang's story was completely inhumane. Just because a tragic situation isn't entirely "unique" doesn't mean he had any right to dismiss it so callously.
Ultimately, the finale made the entire journey feel meaningless. Instead of building excitement for Season 2, it completely killed any interest I had left..

A great mystery ruined by greed and lazy writing
hated Oh Yeon Jin. Not only did she keep hiding information from everyone else, but she was greedy from the beginning.Even after getting the insurance money which technically wasn't even hers, she still tried to play innocent, even though her motive from the very start was getting that insurance payout. That innocent act was so annoying because she knew exactly what she was doing.
Honestly, both Yeon Jin and Tae Jae Gyeong didn't care about their friend's death. Yeon Jin was involved because of the insurance money, while Tae Jae Gyeong was only interested in finding out who drugged him. If that hadn't happened to him, he probably would've accepted it as a suicide too. They were both selfish, just for different reasons.
The show also tried way too hard to make Yeon Jin look like a good person just because she decided to share some of the money with Jun Seo's wife. Sorry, but that doesn't erase everything else.
And Jun Seo's wife cheating? I can't justify that at all. Yes, she was depressed and lonely, but so was Jun Seo. It was their daughter, not just hers. Depression can explain someone's feelings, but it doesn't automatically justify cheating.
Jun Seo isn't a saint either. The man literally used his ex's birthday as the password for everything. What was that? I don't even feel bad that he got cheated on ,they're both trash .
I also wonder what happened to the rest of the money. They earned it illegally, so shouldn't it have gone to an orphanage or some other good cause instead of ending up with them?
And finally, this show dragged on for no reason. It easily could've ended in 8–10 episodes instead of stretching the story out so much.

One of the Saddest Endings I've Ever Watched
I did not see their family secret coming. I was already crying, but that reveal completely broke me. If they were never meant to be, then why did they even meet?I knew a sad ending was possible, but I kept hoping for a happy one until the very end. This drama is a masterpiece, but it's also one I don't think I could ever rewatch. The thought of them eventually moving on with someone else hurts more than the ending itself.
It's been a long time since a drama made me cry like this, and I don't think I'll get over it anytime soon. Maybe it's unrealistic, but since the entire story was supernatural, I don't see why they couldn't have given us a supernatural happy ending too.
