Best Thriller Series of 2026

For me, this was the best mystery-thriller drama I’ve watched. I lived through every emotion with it — anxiety, tension, overthinking, sadness and crying, even laughter. Every single moment in the series grabbed my attention and made me think and analyze what would happen next. Bloody Flower is truly one of the best mystery-thriller dramas. Some people may disagree, but for me, its story is unique, complex, and revolves around a difficult moral dilemma.
Ryeoun’s acting? There’s no question about it — it’s absolutely phenomenal! Honestly, even though I knew he was talented, since this was his first psycho role, I was a bit worried he wouldn’t pull it off 100%. But he nailed the role of the serial killer and the savior of the world. He managed to bring to life a complex, mysterious, provocative character filled with coldness but also subtle kindness — all in one character: Lee Woo Gyeom. One of the best psycho characters in K-dramas. Ryeoun mastered every scene, portrayed the character exactly as required, and even the Korean audience is impressed with his performance. And even if some people think the story itself isn’t strong, Ryeoun carried the entire series on his shoulders 🤍.
The courtroom scenes were so enjoyable, especially when Lee Woo Gyeom provoked them with his confidence that he wouldn’t get the death penalty. The scenes with the lawyer were beyond words. Their chemistry was incredible until the very last episode. I loved their relationship, even though it was complicated — “killer and lawyer” — but it captured my heart and emotions. The father-daughter dynamic, the lawyer doing everything for his daughter, and Lee Woo Gyeom’s determination to save her also deeply affected me. From the first episode to the last, I have to admit — this drama is strong, amazing, and high-quality, with all due respect ❤️.
As for Song Dong Il — honestly, he was amazing. This was my first time seeing him act, and his performance was really good. He matched perfectly with Ryeoun’s acting, creating an incredible mix. He conveyed the emotions of a father worried for his daughter — a lawyer who compromises his morals to defend a killer just for his daughter! Truly brilliant 👏🏻.
As for geum saerok — this was also my first time seeing her act. Honestly, her performance wasn’t very strong, maybe because the role didn’t suit her. I think this type of role isn’t really for her, or this particular character was a bit unfair to her. If another actress had played it, it might have worked better. That said, I really liked her chemistry with Ryeoun — it was really, really good 🥹🤍.

After the last two episodes, I can confidently say that the series is extremely strong and well-rounded. They clarified the important and ambiguous points, and I'm happy that it ended with a logical conclusion.
