it's 100 episodes (or ~50 hours) which is longer than most dramas so the pace will be slower
I know but even so...It is not the first drama with 50 episodes I watch. I've also watched 'My father is strange', 'Sister is Alive' which is even longer than 50, 'What happens to my family'...just to mention a few, and none of them gave me this feeling. I think it is the story...The two first episodes were so good and then they forwarded 10 years later so abruptly...And that Lightning Hero stuff dragged too long for me...
Just a question: If all this lgbt stuff is a normal thing in your opinion, do you consider pedophilia and cannibalism so too? Because these are gonna be the next 'big_read sick_thing'. No, I didn't know homosexuality, prefer to call it 'sodomy', exists also in animal world, but I thought humans were radically different from animals. We possess a conscience, free will, intelligence...But it seems than some of us have them for nothing.
I haven't been more disrespectful than my interlocutors. I've just stated my opinion on the subject. And I've never said I didn't agree with someone's sexual orientation, everybody can do what he/she wants in their own bedroom; I've said the promotion of it is aggressive as if somebody up there wants us all to embrace it. So don't put words into my mouth. If others took offense immediately, it means smth. is not right with them and that is not my fault. I'm not gonna shut up just because others don't like what I say. Go on with your life if you think you do the right thing.
Just action without a strong plot. Moreover the action is repetitive and meh...One thing: the Koreans should never try to imitate the American action series. They should stick to their own style because it fits them the best. Gonna watch two more episodes to see what they still have in stock for us and then decide if I drop it or not.
The first six episodes were really good. The last four gave me the feeling I was watching a drama where nothing really happens, really a bore until the end of episode 10 where they come up with that shocking fact so as to leave us with our jaws on the ground...Wrong move! It is the main reason I'm dropping this drama. If they got to promote this sick thing even in Korean dramas, then count me out! That's all I have to say.
I think the funny side of Ha Rip doesn't really come to terms with his tragic situation...To the end of episode 2, the devil is giving us a small sample of MK-Ultra programming with him as a handler...The last scene of episode 2 is plainly out of nowhere and so cringy. Anyway, I will watch 2 more episodes to see how the story unfolds and then I'll decide if I'll drop it or not.
Any news on the Eng subs for the remaining episodes of this excellent drama, the only one I'm watching during its broadcasting? Are they not going to sub it anymore or is it just a delay? They have done such a great job 'til now. Really appreciate it.
In general I like slow-paced dramas but this one is too over the top. I mean c'mon the two last episodes were pure filler. I sense no chemistry between the main protagonists, the age difference is too noticeable and I think Park Bo Gum acting is somewhat restrained because of it and because she is who she is . I don't see a major story twist coming in the future episodes. I'm gonna watch just two more episodes and if nothing changes, I will drop it.
I get where you're coming from. Personally I think this drama did a great job having us reflect on what it means…
How can humans learn to be better persons in all aspects from robots who are just programmed machines by the same humans? And no matter the shape, say a ball, the robot Sophia or the attractive NS3. Isn't a contradiction here? If the robot is made by a tyranic human being, the robot will be his/her copy. The creation can never be better than its creator. Humans should learn to acknowledge their flawes on their own by making an introspection into their inner selves and correct it. And examples are all around them. They are still good people in this world. And many.
It is the main reason I'm dropping this drama. If they got to promote this sick thing even in Korean dramas, then count me out! That's all I have to say.
I've loved it from the episode 1.
