I agree, it's frustrating when the judges that are supposed to rule in favor of the victims, rule in favor of the culprits. It's a pity we live in such a world.
I was expecting the judge who ruled on gunwoo's case to sentence the culprit to at least 20 years imprisonment, but what? He received just 4 years sentence and a suspended one at that? How wronged soo hyun must have felt with such an injustice that pierced through the sky?

Yes, you are right, it's going to be quite a sight to watch if the SFL is mistress. I can't even begin to imagine the excuses she's going to give when her cover is busted, but of course that's if the SFL is the mistress!

That's also my assumption. The SFL reaction was suspicious when soo hyun told her about her husband's affair cause that's not the normal reaction an innocent person would give. Plus she also told her to bury it, the moment she said that, I grew more suspicious of her!!

The culprit whom she killed deserved it. He killed a child, but what? He wasn't even remorseful nor did he feal sorry for what he did. The poor child had a long life ahead of him, he had a bright future ahead of him. He took away gun woo's life, leaving his mother in an abyss of sorrow and sadness. And despite all that, he couldn't even apologize? Honestly, I think running him over is an easy death, cutting him into a thousand pieces won't be enough.

Indeed, most of the people she thought were her allies are her enemies. And I think it's only seon yul who's going to be on her side such as lee do hyun was hye kyo's only ally in the glory, I truly hope they'll be each others confidant, light, and helper. It was one of the son of a patient at the nursing home soo hyun works at who threw the flower vase at her, and I wouldn't call it work cause she volunteered there to help the patients there, so she doesn't get paid for it... soo hyun truly has a beautiful heart!!

Good casting ratings might be low on MDL, but it's one of my favorite dramas, I gave it a 10 for the wonderful story and acting. With your detailed summary, I think weightlifting fairy is worth watching, so I'm going to trust your recommendations and add it to my watchlist. And though I've watched only 4 episodes out of 16 episodes of high school king of savvy, I can say it's an interesting drama which I already gave an 8.5 for the 4 episodes. I'm still watching and I hope its ending is just as great!!!

I also read comments somewhat similar, but chose to ignore them cause park hyun shik dramas are mostly interesting!!

I asked myself the same question, soo hyun would had restrained herself from killing him if he had apologize but he just had to show how cruel he was with the words he uttered.
Soo hyun's mother-in-law speaks as if it was soo hyun who pleaded for a second chance from soo ho when in fact it was her son who pleaded for a second chance.

Their encounter was when soo hyun visited her son's grave and seol hyun happened to visit the grave of someone there also ( which I think it's the grave of his loved one, probably his parents). It drizzled that day and seol hyun gave her his umbrella. After that encounter, fate played a wonderful trick on them and they meet again.
And to answer your question, he knows what she went through in the the past cause soo hyun mentioned to him that she also lost the one dearest to her but I don't think he knows what she's going through at the moment.

You should definitely give good casting a try, it's a great drama with an interesting plot plus great acting from the leads, especially the FL. And there's lots of action in this drama. The FL played the role of an NIS agent working undercover as a secretary of the ML. And I just started watching high school king of savvy, so I can't comment yet. But I trust it's going to be a great drama to watch cause I trust your recommendations.

Soo hyun's mother-in-law has never tried to understand her, and see from her point of view. What was she supposed to do when the culprit who killed her son was given a fake sentence? And do you know what pushed her into killing the culprit? She asked him to apologize to his son whom he murdered but the culprit didn't apologize. Instead of apologizing, the culprit went on and on about the many business deals he's lost because of gun woo. You killed a person, but what? All you could think of are your businesses? What a cruel murderer.

Soo hyun is surrounded by many enemies and it seems only seon yul is her ally. And I'm loving the vibes I'm getting from them. There was this scene where soo hyun was almost hit by a flower vase and seon yul took the hit for her. I hope he protects her from the evil villains all through.
I'm watching the drama you recommended "high school king of savvy". I'd also like to recommend a noona drama "good casting", and though romance is not the main plot it's a drama you'll love.

Yes I saw the ratings has surged to 8.2 and it's pleasing to see. I hope to see the ratings surge higher cause this wonderful drama deserves better ratings, and 8.2 is what I'd call average for this drama.

Me too, I want soo hyun's mother-in-law to expedite their divorce, that way she'll finally be free from the clutches of her son and their family. Soo hyun's mother-in-law speaks as if she prefers letting the culprit who killed gunwoo go unpunished. The law mostly favors the rich and powerful but when it comes to an average citizen? The law is twisted. This world is indeed unfair.

Her mother-in-law always side with her son even when he's wrong. She always blame soo hyun when in fact soo hyun already gave soo ho a divorce paper to sign years back. But it's her son who refused to sign it. I pity her cause she always has to endure everyone.

It's not yet confirmed whether he's the brother of seon yul or not, but since they share the same family name "Kwon" I assumed they were brothers cause in Korea, there are many people who shares the same family name but are not related.
And yes you are right, the alleged brother of seon yul wants to seek revenge on soo hyun because the culprit that's responsible for gunwoo's death, whom soo hyun ran over is the father of the alleged brother of seon yul. And he was the one who sent the picture of soo ho with another woman to soo hyun.
Our FL is surrounded by many enemies who can't wait to devour her. And I hope seon yul will be her shield, armor, and the one who will help her defeat her enemies as she's outnumbered.

Planning to watch this wonderful drama when there's only two episodes left to air is not too bad of an idea as the wait will be bearable. Adding older woman/younger man tag to this drama's page is a green light for a potential romance between the FL and ML!!! And almost all dramas with older woman/younger man tag contains romance.

the cheating bastard's mother had the gut to call soo hyun a murderer. It's as if the death of gun woo barely had any effect on her. And what? She's saying she dreads her daughter-in-law just because she gave her son the justice he was denied? For a second there, I saw a sociopath who only cared about her son and no one else.

I'd bet that if the mother were to know about the infedility of her son? She'll support him no matter what, and she might just be the one that'll orchestrate their divorce, and I'll thank her for that cause I've been wanting their break-up for a while now as they don't click together.
I checked characters list and you are right, they indeed have the same family name "Kwon". I'd like to see how this story is gonna progress, whether the ML will stop his supposed brother from harming the FL.

I guess you want to start watching this drama when 12 episodes has air, right? If so, I'd say that's also a good idea as long as all episodes hasn't aired.

The age gap is not yet an issue because love is yet to bloom between the FL and ML. But once their relationship develops into a romantic one? Scornful comments from hateful users will swarm in on this page. And all hell will break loose from the arguments cause many watchers in support of this drama containing romance and fans of both leads will refute them to no end.

And I can't believe soo ho's mother. Soo ho's mother said she only accepted soo hyun because her son begged her to, but of course that was after she was released from prison. Furthermore, she added that she's dreadful of soo hyun cause she's a murderer but she had no choice but to accept her cause her son threatened to cut all ties with her, if she had done otherwise. Can you believe that? Who is accepting who? She speaks as if her son is a saint with no flaws, when in fact her son is a cheating bastard.

Eun woo has improved a lot compared to when I watched true beauty and island. Seolhyun and soo hyun are starting to grow closer as of episode 4, and I like the way their relationship is progressing.
I'd suggest you stop waiting for all episodes to air and start watching this drama after episode 5&6 airs and I assure you, you'll definitely love it cause I'd like to believe a drama is more fun to watch when it's airing than when all episodes has aired.

Do you know what's more infuriating? When soo hyun was imprisoned, she wanted to set soo ho free. So, she gave yuri a divorce paper to give to her husband for signing, signifying their legal break-up. But the trashy husband refused to sign the documents. Why didn't he sign the divorce papers when he already has another woman? Is it to torment soo hyun or perhaps add to her misery? I just don't get what he's thinking.

Eun woo has improved a lot judging from what I saw in episode 3&4. And you are right, he needs to perform exceptionally well to spike the ratings of this drama.

As long as their relationship develops into a romantic one, it doesn't matter how long it will take, even if it's the last episode. It's fine with me as long as love blooms between the two.

I agree with you. What if she was already on the plane? Or she already landed at her destination? He just had to call her for something that he could handle just fine by himself, he acts as if he's not the child's parent. And it's as you said, he could just drive to a hospital or pharmacy, he acts as if the female lead is the only parent of gunwoo. It might be a thing in south Korea. I agree with you, it's a great script penned by a professional screenwriter. I'm loving everything about this drama. He said he won't give excuses, then what was all those words he was uttering? Were they words of justification or perhaps atonement? I think he's forgetting his wife is not a fool. Does he expect her to bury it and forgive him just because he said it's in the past?
The expression soo hyun's adopted sister gave was that of a guilty culprit. She even said, soo hyun should bury it. I also think it's embodying what's happening in Korea and many other countries cause there are many trashy husbands in the world. Episode 5&6 is going to be fire 🔥🔥🔥.

I felt the same way upon learning of his marriage a year ago. I asked myself time and time again, "what makes his new wife better than hye kyo"? In my own opinion his new wife is lacking compared to hye kyo.

Started this drama a week ago, but I didn't expect it would be this good. I'm loving how Yi Soo and Ganghyun keeps cracking and solving cases together. I also love the teamwork of team 1.
