Thanks for sharing this. I wanted to wait for more episode, so I held back when I reached episode 8. I guess I have to watch it today cuz I'm really curious about the mastermind. I trust the ML.

I don't see anything wrong with Hankiz Omar's acting. Not that I know of. Her acting is excellent and captivating. So what's wrong? She's also beautiful! "Sexier"? That's nuts. In what way? When will some people grow up? If they want to criticize, at least, the critisms has to be reasonable. As for me, it's in the 9 rating bracket.

You just took the words straight out of my mouth. I also do not let MDL ratings sway me, nor do I allow it to fool me. Their are many dramas that have 7.7-8.0 but are super interesting. And at the same time, I've watched dramas with 8.7-9.1, but I felt like throwing up. Yeah, ratings are not important. That said, I'm really enjoying this one. If it continues this way, it's on its way to top my favourite historical dramas of all time.

I want to sue MDL. I'm fuming right now.

I'll never understand the ratings of MDL. Why is a drama that's this good having only 7.9 here? Honestly, it deserves so much more.

Huang Bei Shuang is so damn daring, witty, and tactical. There's also Huo Qing Yu, I'm loving his character a lot. The way he projects Bei Shuang is so nice to watch. The plot is engaging, so what's the problem? Why 7.9?

Yes, you should give The Long Ballad a try, it's interesting. I'm only on episode 8, but I don't believe it's the ML who caused the death of Huang Bei Shuang's mother. I mean, he gave his horse water to drink, even when he's almost dehydrated. He's such a kind soul. There has to be an explanation of some sorts. I have no doubt that FL is not going to loose her touch. As of EP 08, I'm loving ML and FL's chemistry.

Just reading your comment. Let's see. I think you should try The Long Ballad and Overload. He's the TML in the latter, while he's the SML in the former. His screentime were notable in both dramas, plus he's awesome in them. I also have the same fear as you. But let's wait and see. Regardless of her decision, I'll be rooting for our main couple.⁠♡♡

Agreed. When No Gain, No Love ended, I really thought it'd take sometime before I behold another strong, intelligent, and decisive character as Son Hae Young's. However, just as soon as it ended, I came across another one that impressed me. I'm really loving Huang Bei Shuang so much.

I hope it's the brother that gave the order too. If it's the other way round, then I don't think Huo Qing Yu will be spared. Even if Huang Bei Shuang loves him, I don't think she'll go easy on him. She's a decisive woman.

The premise was so great, I wanted more. But suddenly, it felt draggy. I don't know if it's just me, but this was just a waste of good actors. Well, many liked it though. I guess that's why the ratings is so high, 9.0.

The first five episodes were interesting, but after that? It's as if all the episodes were a disappointment. After much thinking, I dropped this when I reached episode 10. Just reading your review after a month of dropping it.
