I loved XFF/JL's character. To be honest, she's the character I loved the most in The Double, Xiao Heng is the my second favorite. It's the first time I've watched WJY in a revenge drama, she slayed her role. As for WXY, for some reasons, I didn't like his character in SOKP, but in TD? I loved his character!

In my opinion, the ending is a sad one. Why? The answer is obvious, Shen Zhi Heng practically dissipated, or should I say he disappeared. It wasn't just anyone who died, but it's the ML. This drama could have been one of the best, but the director twisted the ending. Some called it an open ending, but I call it a sad ending. As for the romance, it had some, but I'd say the romance was 10-15 percent, it wasn't the main focus of the show. It's utterly ridiculous how XFF's ex had more romantic scenes with her. The director showed us their kiss scene, their happy moments together, but with Duke Su? It's often scheming and politics. If the drama didn't have a romance genre, then I might understand. In my opinion, YSJ who was the SML didn't even have the least bit of the screentime XFF's ex had. That director really got on my nerves.

I really hope the director change the ending from what's written in the novel. This is a drama that has potential, I do hope the ending won't be saddening. I don't want a repeat of TTEOTM.

Yes, it has ended. But you have to subscribe for the express on WeTv. However, if you start now, in about 3 days, I think the express episodes should turn to normal vip by then. It's an interesting drama to watch, there's no doubt about that.

The Double's director deserves scolding for a lot of things. First, it's our kiss scene that's stolen by a candle light, then the ending. I don't know what's going through his head. To be honest, The Double's special episode saved its ratings. I for one would have lowered my ratings if there was no special episode. I hope their would only be disappointed watchers here too, rather than hateful ones.
