You're right, ignoring those type of people is the right thing to do. They are not worth your time and effort. To be honest, I liked how Netflix didn't apologize for the mistranslation. Even if they did apologize, it won't change much, people will still believe in whatever they deem fit as the right thing, so what's the point? In my opinion, I think what's eating them up is the fact that When the Phone Rings managed to surpass most of their favorite dramas, but it's too bad they weren't able to achieve their aim. While their sabotage seemed to have worked here, the overall rating soared higher. So, they're dreaming if they think their trolling worked. I just checked and I saw that this drama has over 60k watchers on MDL already. Such a high number of watchers is by no means a small achievement on MDL. I'm really glad this drama became successful☺️

I can see how much you loved the drama just from your pfp and the lengthy summary you gave. I'm really glad you've started exploring the world of Kdramas in full! Well, what can I say? I just have to say, it's a very captivating drama! I started it yesterday and though I'm only a few minutes in, I can feel their chemistry already. They are still bickering though cause I'm still on episode 1, but I like what I'm see! It's a pity I couldn't start watching sooner due to my busy schedule. But it's okay, now I have the time to watch it ☺️
You're so right, Han Jin Min's character is cold but I like her charisma. A cold female lead and a tolerating ML is perfect. I can't help but like how they started out with bickerings. Their arguments are the spicy parts of the drama!

I don't know why millennials are still this narrow minded! Why are they still on the same topic since all these days. What?, Is the ML a teenager or what? It's a pity to see how narrow-minded some millennials have become. This is the era of the fifth generation for Heaven's sake, when will they grow up? I don't know why they always find faults in noona dramas, it's nuts!

But of course, even with the rectification as regards to the mistranslation, many will still believe what they want to believe. So, it really doesn't change a thing. Believe me when I say this, it's not the mistranslation that's making them furious, it's the drama itself. The fact is, they just can't accept that When the Phone Rings is a big success! Oh well, they can cry all they want, still, it won't change the fact that this drama is a success.

Indeed, you praised TPR to the heavens. However, considering the fact that FP didn't have that much romance, I can't help but be amazed by your words in this review. You mentioned it's going to have a season 2, right? How come?

As the saying goes, "while it takes years to build a name, it takes but a few seconds to have it ruined". Oh well, it is what it is. No matter how much we try to explain that scene to these people, it's of no use, why? It's because they've decided to turn a blind eye and deaf ear to the truth, even though it's as clear as day and as bright as the sun. At this point, I really don't know what else to say to change people's perspective about this drama. I'm short of words 😞😞

Before I judge a drama, I make sure to weigh the pros and cons before concluding on anything, which is how it should be. However, it seems many no longer care about all these, they only say whatever and downvote any drama they seem to hate for one reason or the other.

I guess the only thinhg we can count on to boost this drama a little is our positive reviews and comments. At the very least, those comments will be able to change the minds of some.

In my opinion, I think it doesn't matter whether they included a political issue or not, there'd always be people who will be dissatisfied and angry about how the ending turned out. But I do agree with you when you said, "the ratings wouldn't have turned out the way it is now if the political issue hadn't been include".

Neither did I! All this feels like a dream. Although it's hard, we have to accept the outcome either way. You shouldn't allow it to hinder you from watching new dramas, after all, we have to move on.

It's surprising how MDL turned into what it is today, full of trolls and haters. Poor me, here I thought MDL is better when compared with IMDb, but it appears I was wrong. Both platforms are birds of a feather! I switched from IMDb to MDL, hoping for more positivity and fun. Speaking of the fun, there's indeed a whole lot of fun, however, the positivity became a thing of the past.

Personally, if there's one thing I loved the most about this drama, it's the unique chemistry of Chae Soo Bin and Yoon Yeo Seok!
