I've watched practically all of Cheng Yi's drama, and in all of those, he's either sick or doesn't have much time left. Hope "fox spirit matchmaker: Sword and Beloved" will be different. I want to see a healthy character this time.

Back to our discussion, I was shocked and surprised when I read the article of their break-up, and even more when I read another article stating that hye kyo wasn't aware of their divorce. Furthermore, that joong ki announced it alone. Many questions were running through my head during those times. Questions like; What kind of marriage did they have that resulted into such a break up? Did they even trust each other? I had so many questions, but didn't find the answer.

After a year or two, I then read another article about joong ki being in another relationship with a British actress. It's like the article was meant to answer some of my many questions. If he had married an actress whose elegancy and beauty is comparable to hye kyo's, I might not be this angry. But, he chose a woman who can't be compared to hye kyo. And again, am not degrading anyone, just speaking the fact and being blunt.

I also don't think hye kyo is the kind of person that would allow reel life relationship to affect her real life relationship. After all, that's not her first or second romantic drama. If she and park bo gum really had something going on, she ought to be the one who filed for the divorce and announced it without joong ki's knowledge, but surprisedly, both the divorce and announcement was executed by joong ki.
Yes, there marriage lasted for more than two years, but they didn't have a child, maybe it's because they both were busy with their careers, or maybe not. Many facts about their break-up is still a mystery. But it's surprising how joong ki had a child with his British wife in less than 2 years. Anyway, being a father is a good thing.
And you are right, there are celebrity couples who ended up breaking up, but they're still celebrity couples like hyun bin and son ye jin who are still married and now has a child. How great would it have been if the song couple didn't break-up?

I could tell from how you rearly talk about "the midnight romance in hagwon", that you've lost interest in it. And about the popularity rankings, it's improving. Do you remember wonderful world popularity rankings when it's still airing? It's a little over 1400 even when only 4 episodes was left, but it improved greatly with the grand finale. So, I believe hagwon will also improve soon. After all, there's still 6 episodes left.

I already added "sam soon and secret garden" to my watchlist, maybe you should try "crash landing on you" for hyun bin too. You'll love it.

Speaking of noona dramas, I recommended some but they were either 30 episodes or a little above it. Anyway, I'll recommend them again.

- Fox spirit matchmaker: Red moon pact (2024 noona cdrama, precisely interspecies romance drama, it's still ongoing, will be ending in a few days. Staring Yang mi and Gong jun)
- Pale moon (2023 noona kdrama, 10 episodes I guess, I can't remember the exact number, but it's between 10 and 12 episodes)
- She and her perfect husband (2022 noona cdrama, 40 episodes, starring yang mi and xu kai)
- Falling into you (2022 noona cdrama, 24 episodes, starring gina jin and wang anyu).
Of all those mentioned, the ones I like the most because of the plot and firing chemistry are; Rattan, She and her perfect husband and Falling into you and sunshine by my side. No, I liked them all. There aren't any of all listed that I rated below 8.5 for they're very interesting dramas. Try them, you'll love it.

Yes, it's good we agree on somethings. The director infuriate me everytime I see his face, he's not the only one, there's also the vice director. Seo Hye Jin worked so hard to make daechi chase famous so, but that's how they repay her? She obviously is the one bringing in seventy percent of the revenue, they should know that should she decide to quit, the academy will be close to bankruptcy.

It seems you've got some prejudiced against the ML. He only said those words as jokes, he didn't mean it. He of all people know that he wouldn't be who he is today without Seo Hye Jin, so he doesn't mean it in a bad way.
Speaking of the director, I hate his guts. I also don't get why she's still works at that academy, despite how the director and vice director plotted against her. Always putting other people before oneself is never a good thing, she's put other people needs before hers for years, it's time she lets go and put her needs before others, don't you agree?

Indeed, the fights and plots were captivating, Out of all Cheng Yi's dramas, "love and redemption" is my favourites.
There's also one of my favorites wuxia drama MJTY, I really loved it. The schemes, fights, and plots were exceptional!!

Yes, I almost forgot about it, it's been almost two years since I watched SSS. Another drama that captivated me so was "mysterious lotus casebook", even though there's no romance, I loved the drama, it's a pity the ending was also cliff-hanger.

Same here, I also dislike the director. He's an ungrateful man, 70 percent of the students that are attending lectures at daechi chase were brought in by Seo Hye Jin. Furthermore, she works 17 hours a day, just to teach those students, but what did she get in return? I can't believe how pretty and paranoid he was to have included all sorts of clauses in Hye Jin's contract, has he forgotten that it's Hye Jin that made that academy famous? Or does he think it's all his doing?
You have a point, but you'll agree withn me when I say standing before judges and directing questions to them as if they're students requires courage. And I'd like to believe courage is one of the most essential quality an instructor should posses, don't you agree? Wonderful teaching skills without courage comes to naught, I think that's what earned him the job. At least, that's what I think.
