Piled up some episodes hoping there’d finally be a shift, but nope…This drama has honestly started to feel…
Oh wow , I have a lot of episodes to catch up on ( I am on 20) and was hoping things were changing 😞 . That’s disappointing!! Watching him be so misunderstood is getting unbearable. They should have made this with less episodes, I think 40 is too many especially if it stays on this path with the female lead. 😩
I just finished episode 9, and watching the bad guys win all the time is very hard to watch. The good guys have been beaten so badly and even hit by a car. Please let them get the upper hand soon, because I can’t take much more of this one sided fight. 😩😢
After watching episode 4 , I have questions. Not sure if I missed anything but if you caught something I didn’t…
One question, why did that shaman call him “newly dead” or something like that? And we saw she was the shaman his grandmother went to when he was a little boy to break the curse off of him. She threw rice on him as a boy to ward off bad luck. Then she (Yeom Hwa ) returned to him now and said how long must I protect your family from you, and threw rice on him again. I know she is a shaman but who is this woman? I think she used to work with Mother Sin. And maybe she started doing dark magic so they split up 🤷🏻♀️ Is she evil? She seems creepy. Are there any details I have missed? Maybe questions will be answered next week.
After watching episode 4 , I have questions. Not sure if I missed anything but if you caught something I didn’t please tell me. Questions below in spoiler 👇
I just finished episode four. How deep are those ponds? It looked massive. 😳 And when will he stop trying to kill her and fall in love with her ? On to episode 5 now.
While I completely understand what you mean about how the female lead acts , for me it makes sense. She is not…
Yes that’s the movie. I love Jane Austen’s books. Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Emma, Persuasion, and her unfinished novel Sanditon which was made into a series and given a wonderful ending. 🥰 Also the original post made me think of Bridgerton, “Dear Readers …..” 😊
One recognises the skill of an actress in her noble craft when the character she embodies is capable of provoking…
While I completely understand what you mean about how the female lead acts , for me it makes sense. She is not from that time period. She was raised in our modern setting, so throwing her into the past would not change who she is. Remember she is a college student who has probably been to parties thus her experience with drinking games. I think it would be very difficult to drop all your modern ways and be a part of a time you have just read about in books . I watched a romantic comedy about a girl who goes into a Jane Austen book Pride and Prejudice. It was so entertaining. She had a hard time getting used to not having modern conveniences. And she was trying to keep the story on track, but who wouldn’t fall for Mr. Darcy. So I completely understand her finally falling for the Prince. 💖
This is going to be a fun watch. But why doesn’t she have any friends that are girls? And the one guy friend she has never stands up for her. If they reveal he likes her which they probably will, why does he let everyone be so mean to her. And I don’t understand why everyone is hating on her, what has she done to deserve how they treat her? She is prettier than all the girls in her class that you would think all the guys would like her. Maybe the girls are jealous 🤷🏻♀️ Looking forward to the next episode.
sorry but this is stupid question. IT IS sexual harassment.1. HE FORCED ONTO HER.2. he didn't even "ASK FOR CONSENT",…
Exactly. The comments were worrying me. There is no excuse for what he did. . He is her senior and that is a big No No! He crossed a line with a subordinate. She only dismissed it because he is like a mentor to her.
I just finished episode 14 and from the preview for the next episode they are really pushing this issue with the father not wanting his son to marry her and it looks like she will walk away. I am disappointed with this storyline. In the original version (it’s been a little while since I have watched it) I believe his mother only had a problem with them getting married because his brother had feelings for her too and the mother was concerned about that. Then the brother immediately tells the mother he doesn’t have feelings for her and they move on. There is no break up. Ugh! I will continue watching, but may have to skip some scenes. I miss the Korean version. 😩
I am on episode 13 and I am going to push through until the end. The original version will always be my favorite. I have not liked any of the remakes more than the original Korean version . This one I would say is better than the Filipino version in my opinion. But watching the preview of the next episode it looks like they added a disapproving grandfather along with his father. I don’t really like this change, but I will push through. It is just very frustrating the way they talk about the secretary. I would not want to be a part of his family. And if I was her dad I would go and give them a piece of my mind. He is not royalty, and even if he was this is 2025. It’s just ridiculous. Adults can choose who they want to spend the rest of their life with.
Just finished episode 4, I am so glad she has finally accepted her role . I am so curious how they will end this because we have to get back to reality eventually, don’t we?
Hmm. This one might not be for me. I found episode 3 so so boring. I feel like I don't know the FL at all, I really…
I think him not helping her and going for his sword was just meant to be funny. He is single minded when it comes to the female lead. He only thinks of her and no other woman. I actually think it is kinda refreshing. This is a true romantic comedy so far and I am enjoying it. But everyone’s taste is different. Prisoner of Beauty was so good if you need something to watch.
I understand your perspective and opinion, but I think it makes sense for her to push the ML & original FL towards…
Exactly. She loved the novel in her real life, it was the only bright side in her life. So while we make think it would be wonderful to become the female lead in our favorite novel she wants to stay a spectator and put the story back on track. She knows this is not her life. I wonder how this will have a happy ending.
Well that was a hot mess! But at least it ended good. A few thoughts in spoiler below 👇
So he strangled her until she passes out but she still stays with him and will not let him push her away. And she keeps going back to him no matter how bad he treats her. Which makes her look so desperate by the way. But then in the last episode when Mekhin does what she wants him to do - step away from all the family drama, the power struggle, etc. she tells him it’s too late. 🤦🏻♀️ Where was this person when he practically strangled her to death. Oh, now it’s too much and too late. 🤦🏻♀️ Seriously? And then she makes him wait 4 years before she reconciles with him. Having his daughter call him uncle. Was this to make us viewers fell better about them finally reconciling. Oh she made him wait 4 years so it’s ok now. Yeah I did not need that. Let him be a father to his child while y’all work on your relationship. If it were reversed Monmeena would’ve wanted him to forgive her right away and not wait. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ ok well it’s over now. On to the next romance. Hopefully a better one.
