I’m back, finished episode 12 but I need a break. Mekhin’s famous last words “I would never hurt the woman I love” cut to the scene of him strangling her until she passes out. Also flash back to her asking him if he would forgive her if she does something wrong. His response “I would “. Easy for him to say, but hard for him to do. How can she overlook that he basically tried to kill her. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ My forehead is red from all the head slaps I giving myself. I am going to go take some Tylenol and go to bed. 😴

I was watching episode 12 and I had to comment. This Tri girl was going crazy at Monmeena as if her father was the father of the year or something. He was an abuser who was keeping a woman captive. She may have went to him voluntarily in the beginning for money to treat her sick daughter, but he was a monster who beat her and treated her like dirt. Her helping her mother escape was of course the right thing to do and not the reason her psycho father died. Everyone constantly gives this Tri girl a pass for how she acts. She is a grown woman who acts like a child. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I am trying to press through and catch up , but it is very hard to do. Ok back to the episode - turn brain off .

So I am about to watch episode 11 and catch up on 12 and 13 as well. But I have read comments and watched clips, so Mekhin expects Monmeena to forgive him for using her for his revenge , but he can’t forgive her for what she did for her family. That sounds hypocritical. And then I saw he strangled her until she passed out and she still stays with him to help him with a scarf around her neck 🤦🏻‍♀️ Ok I guess I just have to turn off my brain for the rest of this one.

Exactly. And she gave her life for her cousin. Her cousin is set up where she lives because of her. She can’t expect to hide away with her husband in Boya and not get involved. Family helps family.

I know this is a technicality but it was not her family that killed his family members. Her grandfather chose not to get involved and send troops to help them. Yes they probably lost because of this but her family was technically not holding the knife so to speak. I am wondering if there was an evil plan by someone to wipeout all the men in his family. He only survived because he was hidden. Just curious . 🤔

I thought it was the grandmother who arranged the marriage to stop the hatred/revenge between the two families. I don’t think her grandfather arranged it , he just agreed to it.

I just finished episode 23, I am trying to catch up this weekend. That ending was 😳 , I was thinking is this his imagination or did that just happen. Wow!! They weren’t good people but that sure took a dark turn. On to episode 24, then 25, 26, then 27. My night is quite busy. 😊

I agree , she seemed way too obsessed with her brother. But that kiss was too much. Just ewwww!! It would have been better if he had woke up and saw her leaning into kiss him and he stop her. She acts so immature for her age and the family babies her as well. She is a grown woman and should know better. I will have to skip over her scenes because she is just too much . 🤦🏻‍♀️

I saw a clip of episode 13 and the woman who has grown up with Mekhin as his sister finds out they are not brother and sister and decides to make out with him while he is asleep. 🤮🤮 She is going to town kissing him. Ewww! Who in their right mind would want to make out and become a couple with someone you thought was your brother all your life? 🤮Like hey you’re not my brother anymore so I want to jump your bones and become a couple now . What? That is messed up. The clip was not subbed, but I assume he told her that was so wrong. It looked like he was a little too nice about it. I would have been gagging and told my brother he needed help for kissing me. Just Ewwwww!!!! 🤮

After 4 episodes it is so hard for me to watch the female lead look so pathetic. She is keeping all her hurting to herself and trying to cover the pain with alcohol. I understand people do this, but her ex fiancé is the bad guy who deserves some karma coming his way. Her family needs to know because they would support her and would understand her. I would love to see her mother go after that jerk ex of hers. And now we have a vengeful person on the way after the doctor. I bet that guy is related to the patient who died and he thinks it is the doctor’s fault.

I am enjoying this so far! I love how the female lead can handle things thrown at her. I am worried about this second female lead though. For anyone who has read the novel or knows anything about the story does she handle this second female lead as well as she has been doing everything else? There is a scene in the introduction that looks like the male lead is carrying a woman ( I think it’s the second female lead) dressed in red and wearing a gold mask. I just need to be prepared is why I ask. Please tell me she outwits this other woman and doesn’t let her get the best of her. 😞

I have not watched episode 7 yet, but I agree with all your points. Especially #1 because I get the feeling of being betrayed by your friend/ally but they were not the ones that attacked and killed your people. The female lead looked like she was a toddler at that time 14 years ago. So she had nothing to do with that betrayal. His uncle saying that the betrayal of her family is worse than the ones that slaughtered their family members is very suspicious and so wrong. That uncle is fueling the fires of hatred for some reason. 🤷🏻‍♀️

So you think that’s it, there won’t be another one? 😢

I haven’t watched today’s episode but I saw some pictures of that scene and was disappointed we only see his back. 😞 I hope we get a better kiss scene in the next episodes.

From the comments about today’s episode, I think I might put this on hold until the last episodes are out. I really wanted a sweet romance, but this sounds like it is getting messy and may end like the novel did. 😞 So putting this on hold. 😞 I’ll go watch the Haunted Palace.

Can someone explain to me the story between the sisters? Are they stepsisters? The mom seems indifferent to Naomi. I am just confused with their relationship. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yea!!! Can’t wait for next week’s episodes. He is finally acknowledging his feelings for her. That was so cute he misunderstood her at the end. 🥰 I wanted him to at least grab her hand while they were sitting there. Next episode they will be alone at their apartment for 4 days. Yea!! Let’s see some progress now. ❤️🥰❤️

I see your point of view. For me the almost kiss scenes where they get interrupted by a call or a knock at the door is just over done. This is just not the romance I expected. But glad you are enjoying it. 😊
