I can see your point. And I completely understand they are trying to survive. I just hope the writers are done with throwing in those scenes for the last 3 episodes. Please keep that woman off JunMo. Just let these last episodes be action/ thriller.

I know right. JunMo was clearly being assaulted by her. It was not romantic or hot at all to me. He was uncomfortable. I just wish he would have stopped her sooner. But again thank goodness they got interrupted.

So I just finished episode 8. And here is what happens. Joon Mo (the husband) is trying to make a deal with the Chinese and his boss so that his undercover mission won’t fall apart. He is on a date with the Chinese girl and trying to negotiate. She likes him and tells him she will only deal with him if he sleeps with her. Not sure if she was joking or not. But they go back to her hotel room and she pushes him against the wall and kisses him quite aggressively. He pushes her away and she keeps coming back for more. She pushes him on the couch. He starts thinking about his wife and is clinching the couch, but the girl is relentless and keeps kissing him and starts to undress. He is clearly uncomfortable. The phone rings but she won’t stop. But luckily her bodyguard comes in and stops her with important information. And that’s the end of her ravaging him. So he did not have to sleep with her. And since her father betrayed Joon Mo’s gang , we might not have to see her with him again. Hopefully 🤞🏼

You can clearly see they both are struggling with what they have to do for this undercover mission. His wife told the guys running the operation that her husband needs backup but they will not put any one else under. So that is when she decided she would be that person and get closer JKC. She knew he was looking into her background and her and her husband were in danger. You could see when he told her to turn around she thought he was going to shoot her so her hand was on her gun. Then in the car she realized she had to do more to get him to stop looking into her so she said she loved him and would help him. When he was kissing her she clinched her fist as to her not wanting to be kissing him. She is doing this to save her and her husband. Now when her husband was being kissed and ravaged by BiBi he was clinching the couch and thinking about his wife so he clearly was not enjoying it. Although I wish he could have pushed her off sooner and tell her to answer the phone. I am glad they got interrupted. Thank goodness!! I don’t agree with cheating no matter for what reason. Hopefully he will not have to see that Chinese woman again since her father betrayed his gang. I really hope the cheating stuff is over now.

I just watched episode 8 and now I understand about the so called cheating. I will put my explanation below as spoiler.

So I plan to watch episodes 8&9 today, but after reading the comments I am worried. 😞 But I have a theory about why Yoo Eui Jung has to cross the line with JKC. In episode 7 when he takes her to the restaurant after the memorial, he asks her to stay for an hour “to be with her”. He was doing a background check and I believe she knew he was. Because when she left the table she had a look on her face like he is up to some thing or he is figuring it out. So she probably thought she had to pull him closer to her to get him to stop looking into her past and her husband’s past. She has shown no feelings for him so far, so it makes sense that she is only pulling him closer to protect their cover story. If he loves her he won’t keep digging. Hopefully she won’t have to go any further than just a kiss. Because I am starting to think if they both make it out of this they will probably not be together anymore. 😞

I agree with you that there is so much going on beyond the relationships. The trailer specifically highlighted that kiss to get people talking and hoping to see more. It did shock me but I don’t want to see more and hope he pushes her away and that’s the end of it.

I just watched the trailer for this week’s episodes and I hope the kiss is not a big deal. That he pushes her away and gives an excuse. We don’t need cheating in this crime drama to make it good. So hopefully they don’t cross that line.

I agree with you. It looks like she kisses him. I’m hope he pulls away and it goes no further. Because I won’t continue if he cheats. I don’t believe he has to go that far. He could make up an excuse to stop her. I really hope he doesn’t cross that line.

I am on the fence as to if I should watch this one. If both of them can not remarry, then will they (female lead and male lead) never get together? I like happy romantic comedies with happy endings. Will there be a way they can get around the law or is about them getting others together not themselves? After watching and loving King the Land, I need another romantic series. 🥰

I have been curious about King’s Affection. Does it have a happy ending? I only like historical series with happy endings. I have seen a lot of clips of the Red Sleeve, but that one has a tragic ending so I have pass on it. I love the male lead from the Red Sleeve in King the Land though. King the Land was so good. 🥰

I really hope neither of them has to cross a line in order to keep their cover. I watched an American show on Netflix called Fubar and there is a woman spy who is engaged to a regular guy who doesn’t know she is a spy. Anyways, while she is under cover she crosses that line and sleeps with a target to get information. Her father who is also a spy tells her it is not cheating that it is just part of the job and to never tell her fiancé. I had a problem with that and it sickened me to think her fiancé/husband would never know that she sleeps with men as part of her job. I just feel if that is part of your job maybe don’t be in a committed relationship where you have to lie and cross that line. Sorry for the long post. That is just a sensitive topic for me. 😊

I don’t understand why anyone would want the ML and FL to get in a relationship with anyone other than stay faithful to each other. The options for both of them are drug dealing mobsters. Saying there is chemistry between JunMo and BiBi 🤦🏻‍♀️ He is a cop - he is a cop, he would not cross that line plus he loves his wife. She is a cop as well and I don’t think she will cross that line either. She may have to come close to that line to save her husband. But she loves her husband. I don’t want either one of them to cheat, that would ruin it for me. Hoping for the best 🤞🏼

I was wondering about that too about Jung Bae (I am terrible with names). He was standing by his car acting nervous and watched all those vehicles pass him heading for his boss. And they later mentioned his tire looked like it was slashed. So I thought he was involved. 🤷🏻‍♀️

So I started watching this series after watching King the Land which by the way was amazing. I loved it and hope something similar comes out soon. I love romantic comedies. 🥰 I am enjoying this one as well but I am on episode 19 or 20 and the love triangle is still going strong. While I like both male leads, I hope to get past the triangle soon. ❤️

No her husband is trying to not cross the line as an undercover cop. But he is continually confronted with hard decisions. In the latest episode he had to shoot guys to save himself and his boss. From the first episode it looks like he will eventually have to kill more people, but hopefully it won’t completely change him.

So I watched episode 33 and decided to read the comments before I continued. 😞 I have loved this couple, they have amazing chemistry and have been so mature with their relationship. But from what I have read about the ending, I am disappointed. 🥺😭 I thought we would get a happy ending after all they have been through. So I don’t think I will continue and choose to remember them as a great couple and hope they will do a happy romance drama soon. All I can say is why?? 😞

She loves her husband and will do anything to get him out safe. She is uncomfortable around the SML. I don’t believe she will cheat on her husband. I am more worried that her husband may go too far that he can’t come back. 😞

Oh my 😭 I have been worried that he may have to go too far that he can’t come back. That first scene in episode one is brutal. Oh no - I am so worried. He will probably need therapy at the end of this. - maybe we the viewers will to. 😞
