Title Devilish Joy
I am a few years late to find this series, but I am so glad I did. I just finished the first episode and I love it. The Male lead is so handsome and the Female lead is so cute and little. She is adorable. Since she was drugged it seems like the police would know she was not involved in any wrongdoing that she was a victim. I hope she can clear her name soon. ❤️

I respect your opinion. I meant felt guilty as a cop who has developed feelings for a criminal who he should have arrested. And as a wife myself I would hope my husband would feel some guilt over developing feelings for another woman. And people can’t convince me he didn’t have feelings for her because he let her go instead of arresting her. Just my opinion. 😊

No problem. I will finish those last episodes soon. This is just not my typical kind of series I watch. I usually watch romance dramas. I’m just decided to try something new. I really feel the wife only saw GC as someone from her past and only cared for him as that. But you are right that they probably both felt threatened at that table. I do feel that JM did feel something for HR and his wife sensed that. Their trust in each other was broken. Just sad they couldn’t stay true to each other and work things out. Their marriage was just not strong enough. I do feel people put too much blame on the wife though. JM did his share of wrong. It was just too much to come back from. 😞

EJ has more of a reason to divorce JM because he developed feelings for HR. I am sure she was very hurt.

I believe she was hurt and jealous. She could sense something had happened between her husband and HR. He crossed the line with the Chinese woman and developed feelings for her. He probably felt guilty is why he stayed silent. His wife only saw GC for who he was and I don’t feel like she wavered. She was just playing her part. But I could see that since she was hurt that she wanted to hurt her husband.

You are exactly right. I believe the Chinese woman asked him if he loved her and he stayed silent. His wife sensed something happened between them because a woman does not ask a man if he loves her unless something has happened between them. She was hurt and jealous. She knows her husband and probably could sense he was hiding his true feelings. Very unprofessional of him. His wife in my opinion never wavered. She saw GC for who he was. 😞

I agree with you about GC needing to be arrested, that would have been very satisfying to see all the guys he had been working with be arrested. I don’t agree that the wife should die. She loved her husband and was trying to help him whether it helped or not is subjective. I feel she only saw GC as someone from her past that she wished had followed a different path. JunMo was the one that crossed the line by developing feelings for the Chinese woman who is a criminal. She should have been arrested too. I don’t think it is considered a good cop if you let people go because you started to care for them. That shows he didn’t keep it professional. Everyone should have been arrested.

In my opinion the wife cared for GC but did not love him. He was from her past and she wished he would have chose a different path. So to see someone that was once important to you in your past become a criminal and die would make you emotional and sad. JunMo crossed the line and developed feelings for HR the Chinese woman who is a criminal. He probably felt guilty for that and tried to justify it by thinking his wife loved GC. Also his wife had witnessed her husband doing some pretty gruesome things. He had definitely changed. I really don’t see how he can continue being a cop. He needs therapy. 😞

To be honest, I didn't enjoy drama as much as I anticipated. I originally thought FL would be another undercover…
Very well said. I agree with you that she only pitied KC. She wished he would have followed a different path. But her husband I believe out of his insecurities developed some feelings for the Chinese woman. I believe she realized that when they all four were at the table together. I have only seen a clip(I have to finish the last episodes) but HR asks him if he loves her and he stays quiet. And then his wife says she likes KC. If that is what happened I believe the wife saw that there was something between her husband and HR. A woman doesn’t ask a man if he loves her if nothing has happened between them. The wife was probably hurt and even jealous. She probably even wondered if they had slept together (which they almost did) . So I feel she said that out of feeling hurt, because I don’t feel she was ever swayed. So the divorce happened because their trust was broken and she saw her husband do some horrific things. 😞

She did stop KC from looking into their backgrounds further. It all started when her and her husband ran into KC at the restaurant. He began being curious about her because to him she was his first love. He was nothing but her past to her. JunMo was the insecure one. 😞

You’re right he did need to work with HR but that hotel scene was too much. His wife did not do anything like that. I am not saying she was right but she probably saw how HR was acting towards her husband and maybe even wondered if something happened between them (because a girl doesn’t ask a guy if he loves her if nothing has happened between them) and acted out of jealousy. I know that would have bothered me terribly. And him not saying anything. Yeah I would have been fuming mad at my husband. Just saying she was probably jealous and felt threatened. She is human and not perfect. It was just so wrong for them to be there with other people. Too many emotions. I would not have been able to handle it.

I stand corrected if that’s the case. Even so I would not blame his wife for him having to kill people. He slowly descended into evil to prove he was one of them. People are so quick to blame his wife for everything. I just wish people would understand he is the one that crossed all those lines. It was his choice. His wife made mistakes, but he embraced evil. I am surprised he will stay a cop after all he did and saw. He really needs therapy.

I completely understand he had to do things to keep his cover. But flirting with HR and getting involved with her that I believe he could have been more professional about. Everyone talks about how the wife had a connection with JKC - yes she knew him and was his friend. JM just met HR and did not owe her anything-she is a criminal. His wife probably continued meeting JKC because she saw her husband getting in too deep. Maybe she was hoping she could stop him.

JM was going to have to kill people even if his wife was not there. His first killing had nothing to do with his wife. He and JKC were attacked in their car and he had to kill to save them. I have not watched the last 3 episodes yet so I didn’t know that he let them both go. But I still think he developed feelings for HR. They almost had sex even if he was uncomfortable, he was willing to do it. He crossed so many lines, I really don’t see how he can go back to being a cop.

He was going to have to cross lines and kill even if his wife didn’t go undercover. I have watched the last 3 episodes, but so far she has not slept with JKC only kissed him. JunMo was the one who almost had sex. He went way further than his wife.

He actually started killing people when him and JKC got cornered that night when they were driving and were attacked. He had to kill to save them both. So I would not say it was because of his wife. And when he saw her in the hallway, he was going to have to kill to get down that hallway no matter what. He just hated to see her there.

Excellent drama. JCW and WHJ were dynamic in both of their performances. Feeding off of each other in every scene…
I like your review. I still have to watch the last three episodes. I was just preparing myself by reading the comments. I knew their marriage would probably end but it bothers me how many people blame it on the wife. Like you said she probably could not get over all she saw her husband do. She loved him, but he crossed so many lines to achieve his goal. And ridiculous how many people want him to be with HR who is a criminal. It sounds like he developed feelings for her which is so wrong and unprofessional. I guess I will go watch them now 😞

Title The Worst of Evil Spoiler
I have not watched the last three episodes yet. I came to the comments to prepare myself. But after reading the comments I am frustrated with the continuing hate for the wife/female lead. It’s just unreal. She only got involved because she had to. She was meeting her husband and they bumped into JKC. She could not just disappear. She was trying to cover their story. She watched her husband completely change before her eyes. He crossed so many lines I have lost count. Things people bring up like the necklace. I have a necklace from an old boyfriend. It doesn’t mean anything to me anymore- I am married and have moved on. She loves her husband and that is her past. We all have past loves. She lost contact with him and moved on. You may love an actor or actress but you have to separate that and look at the character he played. JunMo(from what I’ve read) developed feelings for the Chinese drug dealer woman. That was wrong, she is a criminal no matter if she does a few good deeds. And he lets her go? And that’s being a good cop? He’s the one that crossed the line more than his wife. It makes sense that she would be conflicted about JKC because she knew him as a teenager when he was good. She knows his mother and all they went through so of course she has a connection to him and would want him to have a better life. She doesn’t love him anymore, just like any human being would wish happiness for a person from your past. JunMo on the other hand did not know this Chinese woman HR at all. He met her and knew she was a criminal who dealt drugs. She liked him, but he should not have developed feelings for her because there was no past connection. He doesn’t know all she has done up to this point. Again she is a criminal. Why would anyone want him to end up with her. She will have to stay in hiding because she needs to go to prison for all the crimes she committed. She is not a love interest for him and if he considers her, he is a terrible cop. If anyone has the right to want a divorce it would be the wife because her husband developed feelings for another woman/criminal and crossed so many lines. Why is everyone giving him a pass for all he did and attacking the wife. I am amazed that she wants to continue a relationship with her husband after knowing what he did. I wish it would have ended with her wanting the divorce and JunMo wanting to work things out. That would make more sense to me since he was the one who changed the most.
