JM was going to have to kill people even if his wife was not there. His first killing had nothing to do with his wife. He and JKC were attacked in their car and he had to kill to save them. I have not watched the last 3 episodes yet so I didn’t know that he let them both go. But I still think he developed feelings for HR. They almost had sex even if he was uncomfortable, he was willing to do it. He crossed so many lines, I really don’t see how he can go back to being a cop.

He was going to have to cross lines and kill even if his wife didn’t go undercover. I have watched the last 3 episodes, but so far she has not slept with JKC only kissed him. JunMo was the one who almost had sex. He went way further than his wife.

He actually started killing people when him and JKC got cornered that night when they were driving and were attacked. He had to kill to save them both. So I would not say it was because of his wife. And when he saw her in the hallway, he was going to have to kill to get down that hallway no matter what. He just hated to see her there.

I like your review. I still have to watch the last three episodes. I was just preparing myself by reading the comments. I knew their marriage would probably end but it bothers me how many people blame it on the wife. Like you said she probably could not get over all she saw her husband do. She loved him, but he crossed so many lines to achieve his goal. And ridiculous how many people want him to be with HR who is a criminal. It sounds like he developed feelings for her which is so wrong and unprofessional. I guess I will go watch them now 😞

I have not watched the last three episodes yet. I came to the comments to prepare myself. But after reading the comments I am frustrated with the continuing hate for the wife/female lead. It’s just unreal. She only got involved because she had to. She was meeting her husband and they bumped into JKC. She could not just disappear. She was trying to cover their story. She watched her husband completely change before her eyes. He crossed so many lines I have lost count. Things people bring up like the necklace. I have a necklace from an old boyfriend. It doesn’t mean anything to me anymore- I am married and have moved on. She loves her husband and that is her past. We all have past loves. She lost contact with him and moved on. You may love an actor or actress but you have to separate that and look at the character he played. JunMo(from what I’ve read) developed feelings for the Chinese drug dealer woman. That was wrong, she is a criminal no matter if she does a few good deeds. And he lets her go? And that’s being a good cop? He’s the one that crossed the line more than his wife. It makes sense that she would be conflicted about JKC because she knew him as a teenager when he was good. She knows his mother and all they went through so of course she has a connection to him and would want him to have a better life. She doesn’t love him anymore, just like any human being would wish happiness for a person from your past. JunMo on the other hand did not know this Chinese woman HR at all. He met her and knew she was a criminal who dealt drugs. She liked him, but he should not have developed feelings for her because there was no past connection. He doesn’t know all she has done up to this point. Again she is a criminal. Why would anyone want him to end up with her. She will have to stay in hiding because she needs to go to prison for all the crimes she committed. She is not a love interest for him and if he considers her, he is a terrible cop. If anyone has the right to want a divorce it would be the wife because her husband developed feelings for another woman/criminal and crossed so many lines. Why is everyone giving him a pass for all he did and attacking the wife. I am amazed that she wants to continue a relationship with her husband after knowing what he did. I wish it would have ended with her wanting the divorce and JunMo wanting to work things out. That would make more sense to me since he was the one who changed the most.

Exactly. JunMo crossed the line with HR. He developed feelings for her. And I have heard he let her go. She is a criminal. How is that being a good cop? If I was his wife I would have been hurt by all he did while undercover. He went too far. Shocked he could still be a cop after all he did.

I completely agree with you. I have been reading the comments and it is so frustrating that every one is hating on the female lead. She only got involved because she had to. After the way he interacted with the Chinese woman that would have me questioning my husband. I know he was uncomfortable but he let her get way ho close. JunMo crossed so many lines that I am not even sure he should be rewarded. Ugh! Not sure I want to finish this.

I am confused on why you think she has slept with JKC. She was about to be shot and then he would have killed her husband. So she told him she loved him and let him kiss her. She was clearly crying and gripping her seat. She was uncomfortable. They have not slept together and I don’t believe she would. But JunMo is a different story, I know that the Chinese woman was assaulting him (and he was uncomfortable) but he was not going to stop her. They almost had sex if the body guard had not interrupted them. She had her shirt unbuttoned put his had under her shirt and was on top of him kissing him. That was way further than his wife. She only kissed him once. I see his wife in the undercover mission to remind him he has a life to go back to or had. If anyone cheats it will be JunMo because he wants to work with the Chinese. I hope he doesn’t though.

Did you not see her crying and gripping her seat. She was clearly uncomfortable. And people are crazy to think she would sleep with JKC. She is just trying to keep him from digging into their past. The person I am worried could cheat is JunMo. He was uncomfortable with the Chinese woman attacking him, but he wants to make a deal with her so he looks like he would go as far is needed to keep her happy. I sure hope he doesn’t cheat because that would ruin it for me. 😞

But again I have to respectfully mention that after JKC ran into the two of them talking there was no turning back. She could not just disappear. She was his first love and he began to get curious about her and started digging into her life. She had to insert herself to stop him from discovering everything. When JunMo saw her at the end of the hallway yes he wanted to protect her but he embraced that situation a little too much and went too far by biting that man’s ear off. She was shocked by how far he went. I don’t blame her for being there, she had just saved them both by telling JKC she loved him to stop him digging. Anyways it just bothers me that so many people are calling her the problem and that she has not been any help. Having her around and seeing her should be his moral compass to keep him anchored and to do the right thing. If she wasn’t there he could go under and never come back. Seeing her should remind him he has a life to go back to. Although he may not be able to go back now.

I don’t understand why so many comments are saying the wife is useless and a problem to her husband. The people that are leading the operation are the ones that are useless. They put JunMo under cover with no backup. If this would have been a quick mission then I could see him not needing backup. But he has been under cover for a while. Let’s go back to the first episodes when his wife went to see him while he was under cover that is when they ran into JKC. Whose fault was that? Not the wife’s fault. Someone should have picked an out of the way spot. But because of that incident she had to use her connection with JKC to keep her husband’s cover. She is not useless, she is doing her best to distract him and help her husband. And it’s working. He cares about her despite knowing she is a cop. That is actually a better connection for an undercover mission than her husband lying about being the cousin of one of the bad guys that died. Her story would be so much easier to cover because it’s based on a truth and a past connection. She is actually staying professional so far. Yes she had to say she loved JKC and let him kiss her (you could tell she was uncomfortable) but that was because those guys that are running the mission did not cover their back story well enough. She was afraid for their lives. Her husband (although people are enjoying his decent into evil) has not been able to stay professional. He has crossed so many lines that I don’t think he can come back from. I know he is trying to do his job, but a cop has a morale code and he has let that go. He needs to be pulled out whether he wants to or not. His superiors should see he has changed and has been compromised. Now to him pursuing a deal with HaRayeon to keep the mission going. I believe that was a line he did not have to cross. While quite a few people find that scene hot, it was disgusting to me because she was assaulting him. I wanted him to stop her. She is not a love interest for him. He is happily married (or was) and she is a drug dealer. To me his wife actually seems more professional. She is staying level headed. In the trailer for the last 3 episodes JunMo looks like and acts like one of the gang members. He has completely embraced this role as a character and an actor. I believe choosing him to go under cover was not the best choice. They chose him probably because he was unconventional and thought he could adapt. But he has some emotional issues with his dad and his past growing up that made him susceptible to being changed.

You are exactly right. Simone Biles had a mental issue this past Summer Olympics. She had to pull out of some of the events she was supposed to compete in due to her mental health. She did her best that Olympics, but said her health was her priority. She has recently started to compete again (she never gave up just got treatment and got better) and she is dominating gymnastics. They have named even more techniques after her. I believe she can go all the way and win gold this next Olympics. Athletes never give up 😊🇺🇸

I agree with you 100%. The wife was terrified and on the beach when he told her to turn around d sad he thought he was going to kill her. She only told him she loved him and let him kiss her to stop him from being suspicious. And JunMo was being assaulted. It was not hot or romantic. I was so uncomfortable and kept yelling for her to answer the phone. I wanted him to push her off again. Thank god for the bodyguard. If the roles had been reversed - people would clearly call it sexual assault. I mean she threatened to break the deal if he didn’t sleep with her. That’s disgusting. I really hope we are done with all that kissing and it is just action for the last 3 episodes. I was hoping they would not work with the Chinese girl because of her father but she showed up at the end again. But JunMo better keep her off of him.

I am glad the bodyguard interrupted them. She was assaulting JunMo. He was clearly uncomfortable and thinking about his wife. I kept hoping she would answer the phone but thankful for the bodyguard. I thought he should have pushed her off because again it felt like an assault. If the roles had been reversed, it would clearly be sexual assault. And the wife only told JKC she loved him and let him kiss her to stop him from being suspicious and looking further into her past. I hope the last three episodes have no more of this cheating storyline. Just action/ thriller.

If you remember the wife asked the guys running the mission for backup for her husband because JKC was looking further into her and her husband’s background. That is why JKC asked her to stay at the table after the memorial for her mom because he was waiting for a phone call from that Private Investigator. The husband had to stop the private investigator before he blew their cover. She is worried that her husband is all alone and they won’t send any one else under cover. That’s when she decided to get closer to JKC to be able to help her husband. He was questioning her so she said she loved him and let him kiss her and it worked. He stopped being suspicious. So she is not useless. She is doing everything she can to help him and get him out quickly. But after what she saw him do in that gang fight in episode 9 - she saw a different man.

It wasn’t romantic at all. HR was assaulting him. She told him she would only make a deal with him if they slept together. If the roles had been reversed people would call that sexual assault. He was very uncomfortable and pushed her off twice and she pushed him on the couch. Thank god her bodyguard interrupted them so it didn’t go any further. I wish JCW would have pushed her off again though. I hope there is no more of that in the last 3 episodes. I really don’t see how people think it was hot - he clearly was uncomfortable and only thought of his wife. And his wife only let JKC kiss her so he would stop looking into her and her husband’s background. If anyone let things go too far it was the husband even though it is for the mission. If he ends up cheating that’s going too far for me.

Why do so many romantic comedies have an obsessed and delusional 2FL who wants the ML? I am still watching this one because I am enjoying it despite delusional girl. But does anyone have a recommendation of a romance without crazy 2FL with a happy ending?

I can see your point. And I completely understand they are trying to survive. I just hope the writers are done with throwing in those scenes for the last 3 episodes. Please keep that woman off JunMo. Just let these last episodes be action/ thriller.

I know right. JunMo was clearly being assaulted by her. It was not romantic or hot at all to me. He was uncomfortable. I just wish he would have stopped her sooner. But again thank goodness they got interrupted.

So I just finished episode 8. And here is what happens. Joon Mo (the husband) is trying to make a deal with the Chinese and his boss so that his undercover mission won’t fall apart. He is on a date with the Chinese girl and trying to negotiate. She likes him and tells him she will only deal with him if he sleeps with her. Not sure if she was joking or not. But they go back to her hotel room and she pushes him against the wall and kisses him quite aggressively. He pushes her away and she keeps coming back for more. She pushes him on the couch. He starts thinking about his wife and is clinching the couch, but the girl is relentless and keeps kissing him and starts to undress. He is clearly uncomfortable. The phone rings but she won’t stop. But luckily her bodyguard comes in and stops her with important information. And that’s the end of her ravaging him. So he did not have to sleep with her. And since her father betrayed Joon Mo’s gang , we might not have to see her with him again. Hopefully 🤞🏼
