No worries. I wasn’t sure if you knew the story. Maybe it was one of the other comments that thought she was cheating. Just thought I would help clear that up. Because the ex is the scumbag cheater.

The female lead had read the book before going into the novel. She knew the boyfriend was cheating on the character/female lead that she was now portraying and knew that she had been paying for all his expenses. She tried to tell her best friend that he was a cheater/scumbag but the pager stopped her. So she had to go a long with the story line. The pager told her she must have the male lead fall in love with her to leave the novel, so that was her dilemma. Her friend did confront her if she was falling in love with the male lead and she assured her she was not. And that was true because she is just trying to go home. So her friend never supported cheating and the female lead never cheated. Nothing has happened between them, but now it can because she is single. The only cheater is the ex boyfriend.

After finding out the back story, I do not want her to get back together with her ex. I hope she succeeds with her undercover case but stays single. I normally love romance, but not sure how you redeem him after what he did. I like the second lead but he doesn’t seem mature enough for her. Oh well, I will see where this goes.

I just finished watching episode 3. 😩 I am having a hard time liking this one. I know comments say it gets better in episode 4. Ugh!! I don’t know. I loved her in Lovely Runner, but she is just not likable yet. She’s kinda evil! Oh well, I guess I will watch episode 4.

Yes that one was bad. Thank goodness the female lead in this one has beautiful hair. I have to skip over thst other girls scenes. Hopefully she won’t be around much. 😩

Oh I forgot this takes place in the 90’s so maybe that’s the reason for the haircut. It is just not my favorite. But it does fit her annoying character I guess.

I just finished watching episode 7. I am starting to get into this one. I was having a hard time transitioning from Love between Lines. The female lead here is so funny. That love rival is so annoying. She really has no self respect forcing this marriage. And now with all she is doing with his business, why would he ever want to marry her. 🤦🏻‍♀️ On a side not I really don’t like her hair cut, it just doesn’t flatter her. I just don’t find it attractive. But maybe that’s just me. On to the next episode. Binging in this winter storm 🥶❄️

Yes I just finished the episode and that was a nice ending. I hope things will get better now.

I am watching episode 6 and I am having a hard time liking the female lead. She is so mean to the male lead. She says she won’t date him while he is a parent but then doesn’t understand why he is distancing himself from her. She spends time with the lawyer and he is a family member of a student. She never tries to understand the male lead. Ugh! I hope this gets better. Right now the little dog is my favorite.

I just finished this one and I loved it. I will miss this wonderful couple. They had such great chemistry. 🥰 This goes on my favorites list with The Best Thing. Just wish we could have got a little more with that ending, but nevertheless a great watch. ❤️

I believe so. I would have to check. It has been a while since I watched the Australian version. There are so many storylines that it is hard to keep up.

After finishing 2 episodes I am just not sure what to think yet. I will watch a few more , so hopefully it gets better. I don’t really like Eun Ho yet but maybe she will grow on me. The way she just casually ruins his life. I hope she gets better.

I agree that she was way over the top in the beginning of the episode to avoid her boss seeing her at that event. To me she made it worse and caused quite a scene that everybody would notice her. And I would have loved to see her be a teacher, that would have been a lovely storyline. I don’t know how she will be able to keep her job and be pregnant. I guess we shall see how they make that work. Fingers crossed this will be a fun romance. I am very worried about that sister in law though. She is scary 🫣

🥰That was a great first episode. I loved the male lead in Devilish Joy. I hope this will continue to be a great romance. That sister in law scares me. I am afraid of what she will try to do. I hope they don’t make her villain-is part too big. I just want lots of romance. 🥰

So I am finally watching this one and I am a little confused. If he would not have submitted that second weapon wouldn’t that have been considered as concealing evidence? Evidence that is found should be turned in, so that the right person is charged and prosecuted. Yes thank goodness he did the right thing, but that is what he is supposed to do, collect all the evidence and find the murderer. I know she is happy he turned in the evidence, but he almost held on to it and she would have been convicted. I myself don’t find that heroic, it was what he was supposed to do. If you think about it, a prosecutor finds a weapon at the crime scene at the same time the police find a weapon in a field - would that really hold up in court as not biased. I would be hurt that he was considering letting me get convicted. Oh well moving on.

If you had watched the original Swedish version or the Australian version then you would know this is a very messy family drama. From the comments I see this version is following the original and staying true to the messy parts. This was meant to be a jammed packed drama. I am waiting until it ends to see if they follow through like the original.

Well not sure if this one is for me or not. I guess I did not read the synopsis closely or watch any trailers because after watching 2 episodes this is not what I expected. I was expecting a romcom about an interpreter and a celebrity. This has some dark elements and a lot of the comments here have me wondering if this is really something I would enjoy. I think I will check out No Tail to Tell and decide on this later for now. 😩 I just want a fun romance. 🥰

Enjoyed reading your comments. I feel the second couple is most likely doomed. He has lied to her so much and promised he wouldn’t. After discovering all the truth from his phone, I don’t think she can recover from this. Very sad 😞.
