I just finished watching episode two and I see that they are following the original story pretty closely, but the other two versions were a lot more spicy. I see that they are not showing us the first time they were together unless they show us in episode three in a flashback. So far the Australian version is still my favorite version. I will watch more and see where they go from here. I was hoping there would be more chemistry between them, but maybe it will heat up in the next episodes.
After watching the first episode they are following a lot of the key points of the other two versions. Although in the Australian version how they meet was not creepy at all. He was walking the same way home and she does think he is following her but it is not done in a weird way. I will watch the second episode and see how much they follow the original.
What is the Australian Version? Where did you watch it ? Thank you 🙏
It’s called Love Me just like the other version and it is on Hulu. There are two seasons, I think 12 episodes total. You can try searching for it to see if there is a free site to watch it on since it has been out for a while. It had a happy ending, I just wanted a third season for more details.
I have not watched today’s episode yet and I am thinking maybe I should wait until next week and watch all three episodes together. I was enjoying this one so much but from what I have seen and read, next week will be a roller coaster of a ride. 😢
I have watched the Swedish version and the Australian version. I liked the Australian version a little more, because the male lead is one of my favorite actors. I wonder what changes they will make to have the story fit into Korean culture. In the other two versions the male lead is a pretty famous model. I wonder if they are following that. Also both versions are pretty spicy, so I wonder if they will tone down the spice. I am definitely checking this one out. I wished they would have done another season of the Australian version. Hope this one gets a satisfying ending.
So I am trying to catch up on this one, I have been so busy. I was ok with everyone through episode 6, but episode 7 was hard to push through. The female lead has become annoying to me. I have tried to stay positive about her but episode 7 was just too much. 😩 I love the male lead from Alchemy of Souls, but the female lead is just getting on my last nerve. 😩 I actually wanted him to give up on her. Dating the lawyer makes no sense and treating Do Ha this way is too much. I get it , she was hurt in the past but let it go already. He lost his twin brother, she just lost a friend. How are they equal? I will continue watching tomorrow. I have to go to sleep now. 😩 Ugh!!! Thank goodness I have Dynamite Kiss to watch on Wednesday.
So I watched a breakdown of the preview for next week’s episodes. And it looks like to me his first response to her is out of anger to make her think he is kissing Ha Yeong. I get it, a little payback for her lying to him. But I hope they clear things up quickly so we get more romcom and less drama. If he remembers she said she needed the job to help her family. And it all happened after they met and fell for each other. So hopefully he won’t take long to understand her. 😩
OMG!!! That ending was unexpected. I had given up hope that we would get any reveal in this episode. 😳 More…
I was so very sad for JH when he saw the three of them looking like a happy little family, he knew he had to move on. 😢 Now this second couple to me doesn’t make sense. Seon U told JH that he loves Da Rim (ironically he is not able to tell Da Rim) , so it would not make sense for him to end up with Ha Yeong unless they do a time jump or she tells him she will wait for him to get over his feelings for Da Rim. She is pushing herself on him. They don’t make sense to me, but oh well. I was so excited that he heard the little boy call her Auntie, but where do we go from here? Does he still get engaged? Does he fire her? Will he be happy about it? Oh so many questions. I can’t wait until next week. It seems so far away. 😩
😩 The first two episodes were such a fun romcom, but now it is just torture. JH is in so much pain that it is hard to watch. When she brought him the medicine and her first payment I was actually frustrated with her because he was right she was crossing the line as a married woman ( yes it’s fake but that is the path she has chosen). She is sending him mixed signals. If she wants to keep this job then she needs to act the part 100% of the time and not entertain any romantic feelings for JH. I am ready for her to tell the truth. 😩 I really hope they don’t drag this lie out too much longer because I want to actually get some happy romantic moments. Now to the second leads - I understand that they deserve a love line as well as the leads but for me it just doesn’t fit here. He is pretending to be Da Rim’s husband (and he also has feelings for her) but we have the 2FL going all out to date him. It just doesn’t sit right with me that she is pursuing him in the middle of all this. And I don’t think her parents will approve of her dating the photographer since he is divorced and has a kid. It’s just so messy. Please let episode 8 be less torture. On a brighter not I love Da Rim and JH’s chemistry, they are so good together. 🥰❤️
I started out liking the 2ML . He was such a great friend to the FL and her mother. Their relationship seemed very close. And I appreciated that he said he would help her by pretending to be her husband for her to keep the job. But in this latest episode (and from the preview) my opinion has changed. He should not have agreed to pretend to be her husband if he was not planning to keep it up with everyone. The FL is a very close friend of his who it looks like he has feelings for so to decide all on his own to tell her secret to someone that could potentially ruin everything and get her fired was very wrong of him. Also he is on a business trip with everyone who thinks he is married and he lets the 2FL kiss him outside where anyone could see them. 🤦🏻♀️ Yes this relationship is fake , but he agreed to cover for her and he is not doing a great job. In my opinion he should not have told the 2FL the truth, it’s disrespectful of their friendship. 🤦🏻♀️ And from the preview if it is correct it looks like he sneaks around with the 2FL which is a very bad look. He needs to tell the FL that he told her secret to the 2FL. Because everything could get messed up especially because the 2FL wants the 2ML all to herself and doesn’t care about anything thing else, kinda selfish in my opinion. Sorry for the rant. Maybe the preview is misleading. I hope it is because if he is developing feelings for the 2FL then he needs to stop pretending to be the FL ‘s husband. I hope all the lies get cleared up soon. It’s such a mess. 🤦🏻♀️
I just finished episode 3, and when he threw the four leaf clover out the window 😩😢 that was so sad. I understand that he fell hard for her and he is hurting, but he came off very mean and privileged at the pool. He really doesn’t understand what it is like to be in her shoes. And when he finds out the truth, he is going to regret the way he is treating her. 😩
I wish she would listen to him when he tried to explain himself for making such a plan to save both the army and…
I understand your point, but shouldn’t we admire her for standing with her family through thick and thin. Remember she doesn’t know what we know. Wouldn’t people criticize her if she threw her family away for a guy she recently met who has lied to her multiple times.
It’s not an unpopular opinion. There’s a lot of people who understand Cangcang’s perspective. I think many…
Yes I was worried as well. But I hoped there were people who would see things from her perspective. Most of the comments are very harsh and taking the Emperor's side.
This may not be a popular opinion but I feel bad for Cangcang. We have to remember she does not know what we the viewers know. The Emperor has not told her the truth. All she knows is that he has lied to her from the very beginning. She doesn’t know about her father and adopted brother. She only knows they have cared for her and loved her. Of course she would believe them her family over a man she just recently met who has deceived her from their first meeting. She doesn’t know the reasons behind everything the Emperor does, to her it looks like he doesn’t truly love her. I mean he had her take birth control medicine because he doesn’t want a child with her. We know the truth behind it, but how would she know. I am more frustrated with the Emperor for not telling her everything because the truth will be revealed eventually and she will feel completely alone as her world crumbles. Just my opinion.
I just finished episode 10, and we didn’t get a kiss or love scene just their hands clasping. Boy we were spoiled with Prisoner of Beauty’s love scene. And very sad for her that he had her take birth control medicine and didn’t explain the real reason. 😩 Thank goodness I have Dynamite Kiss to watch. 🥰
On a brighter not I love Da Rim and JH’s chemistry, they are so good together. 🥰❤️
