With the strict censorship strikes in China lately, I don't think they will dare to follow the novel, but instead they'll choose just one (and considering how the drama is going I'm pretty sure they'll choose Xun'er)
It's started so good and had so many potentials but the last part became rushed and honestly their actions became nonsense to me! As much as I like tragic endings (of course, ending that suits the drama like this one), this ending is just bullshit for me. -The princess (childhood friend) with Chang An killed herself just because he didn't want to follow her words. ''sigh'' -Chang An acts stupidly leading to his capture. -We didn't see if Chang An actually dies or not, -Yue Ying for no reason abandoned the prince. (which is the biggest let down for me in this drama) -All the things the prince works for (except for killing the general who killed his mother) were in vain! (well for me at least)
I was going to give it a 9.5 but because of the ending I'll give it 8/10 cuz no matter how much you guys explain to me that there's a reason behind this, that would never lift the unpleasing and bitter filling that the drama left in my heart.
One of the cutest, heartwarming and sweetest movie of 2018 (well except for arm-wrestling scenes ;D) I just cried at the end! Oh and did I mention that the English is clear lol 9/10 Really like it!

Honestly, just give it a try. The first 3-4 eps were kinda messy but it gets better every eps!

No, it's not he commit suicide but he didn't wake up from the coma in the first place cuz if you remember the scene where he hurt his hand with some metal thing (I don't know what it's called lol) when he was listening to the recording, he said that he didn't feel anything at all which means he knew that he was still dreaming and the scenes in the future when he woke up means that it was a dream too and that they didn't also catch the culprit. (he's stuck in a dream inception lol)
Which means that he chose to stay in a coma (being in the 88's) than reality! which I find it sad.
Tbh, the ending didn't satisfy me at all! hope that they will be a season 2!

Tbh, I really didn't hear anything nor did I expect this drama at all. And now that I did ohh boy I'm so excited. I just watched the trailer and ... ohh god! I've never laughed at a trailer so hard before XXXD I'm a big fan of the casts so I'm pretty sure this drama will be a such a good treat! (I really hope they don't ruin it at the middle.. cuz so many dramas this season started with such great potentials to actually disappoint at the end!) Fighting <3
I really liked this drama and I'm a suck up for VIP/Bodyguard type of plot but the big problem was with the production staff, especially the editors/ music producers. It's like they don't know what the heck are they suppose to do. Every single cut is full of zoom in, too many angles and oh man the WOOOSH sound effect is just so disturbing, it's like (without offense) I'm watching an Indian drama with the exaggerated edits. And don't let me talk about the music, there isn's a single second without music in it. Don't they know that the essence of a good drama is not just a good plot, good cinematography, or good actors but the music/soundtrack as well. And what makes a drama to be good is the ability of when to use a raw scene without a soundtrack and when to use a scene with a soundtrack and keep the balance between them. Also the choice of the right music for the scene cuz clearly where like : '' Oh, we'are going to kill a person dear to someone. What do we do?'' " Don't worry, we will just insert a hype/action music in and make it louder and trust people will love it''
Anyway, enough of me ranting. I was going to give a 9 but the edit was just horrible and ruined the drama for me! so I'll give it a 7.5
I'm not used to watching Thai dramas but are all of them follow the same type of edits or is it just this one. If that was the case then that'll be a shame cuz I really want to watch another Thai drama!
But man, gotta give props for the guys behind this show!
