There are scenes of converstation where characters basically talk about their life philosophy no exposition or plot progression. The other characters usually give weak or uninteresting responses so the audience actually thinks about what is being said. True Detective does exactly the same thing but there it effects the story thematically but here it doesn't. I feel its simply a waste of good dialogue.

I wrote, I skip to the random stuff not that I don't enjoy it those are the best parts. My problem is the quality of the dialogue is wasted on the basic plot of finding happiness through love its like using high quality ingredients to make a pizza. Sure, it will taste better but I feel its wasted potential. This is way better than most dramas I watch so I even bother to actually think about it.

Reminded me of True Detective, especially where the writer directly speaks through dialogue about how the character understands the world works. While in True Detective dialogue informs the plot and progression of the story here the plot is so basic that I literally skip to the parts where people are just talking about random stuff that has nothing to do with the story. What is the theme if life pushes you into being selfish and self-absorbed it's alright as long as you find love, or that relationships are only meaningful if you get something out of them? If someone takes all the parts of Lee Minki and Lee El characters talking and made it a video with a story summary it would be better than this show.

A complete fever dream of an ending. This is what happens when you write yourself into a corner and don't what to do so you make it ambiguous and unsatisfying.
