Can't describe better. Wu ji,Wangxian, Xianyun- everyone of them is a gem. No matter which version, i feel like tearing up, sometimes i do too. Another thing is, i am loving the ending song of chibi version ,xiaoyao ji too. So beautiful.

I must say you are a keen observer. I didn't even realize i missed mentioning the audio drama until now xD. But yes i did check it out and i loved it. Each version with its own charms mesmerized me.

TU raised my standards so high that i am literally struggling to find something to watch..And guess what, i can't find anything and come back here everytime xD I am not complaining though xD

It is extremely censored. There is no confession, hugging, or intimate scenes. I can assure you that it will not make you uncomfortable even for a second. So it's your choice now, but I will suggest you to give it a try. it's a beautiful drama.

I don't really comment much as i am not good with words but i come to this page everyday. It has became a part of my routine you can say. It's an overwhelming feeling to read so many appreciating comments for TU and that's well deserved. For those who are still hesitant about giving this drama a chance, let me share my experiences with you. I was so into kdrama that time and i watched 5/6 cdramas at most before watching TU. I was not open to historical type of dramas as well and never watched any BL or bromance dramas till then. So like some of you, i was confused at first. With these many barriers and 50 eps in front of me, i decided to give it a try with zero expectations even though it has a really high rating. Let me tell you, that was one of the best decisions i have ever made in my life. I was so attached from the very first ep that i finished it in 3 days. This drama will make you laugh, cry, angry, helpless, lonely as well let you experience the feeling of loyalty, longing and being loved. I can guarantee you that. Those who like strong plot building and character development like me, will surely like it.TU doesn't have a specific strict genre and it is full of surprises. I was in awe and i still am. If anyone is hesitant because of bromance tag, don't be. It will never make you uncomfortable. Similarly, if anyone is hesitant thinking there won't be enough BL for you, i still suggest you not to be. In my opinion, love doesn't have to be all about physical, bold confessions and all, but it can still be evident in your micro-emotions, gestures, trust, care and support. This is the beauty of love and the production team did an excellent job on depicting the emotions and vulnerabilities of a person within so many boundings of censorship. On kdrama vs cdrama topic, i can assure you that TU will help you understand the strength of cdramas more. So give this masterpiece a go and be prepared to fall in a loop hole xD. Even after 5 months, i can't get over it. I am all over the places. I've read the novel, manhua, many fanfictions, rewatched TU couple of times, watched donghua, special edition, bts, interviews, programs, analysis videos and listened to the playlist literally every now and then. Watching the chibi version now. Trust me, it never made me bored and i fear it will never do xD. i wish the drama has more eps, poor me :(

Extremely sorry for this long essay but i just feel like sharing. Hope it will help someone overcoming their confusions and let them not regret about missing this wonderful creation :)

Finished watching this masterpiece for the first time so maybe i missed it.but can someone tell me what happened to Lan Xichen after the temple incident in the last ep? Why he didn't take The Excellency position?He was still in grief and mentally unprepared at that moment thats why?
