Hey what a surprise—a really well made series in the upper stratosphere of the BL genre. It was artistic. A classic that will be remembered with the best of them. The talent behind the camera made those assembly line Thai BL series coming off the conveyor belt these days look like amateur hour. This is no “Dinosaur Love for Love’s Sake”. Had a bit of that Eighth Sense indie vibe.

Oh my. About as powerful a 30-minute watch as you can find. If you are a fan of the craft and art of film-making, this one will take you to school on how to execute brilliantly. It's not every day a half-hour story is so brilliantly produced that it earns the right to leave me with a feeling of utter devastation. If you've been following the "Don't Say Gay" movement in Florida, US, then this Korean film is a stark reminder of what happens when people pollute the world with hatred, intolerance, and bullying.

I really want to love this drama. It has a cute plot. But the actors needs to work on their acting badly. They…
For their pretty faces . I’m with you on the acting. But a crack in the awkward at the end of episode 3 and a glimmer of hope that the chemistry between the leads will grow. Bomber at least got 2 dimensional as he warmed up to Jin. Or am I just being hopeful?

At this point, Ait just reminds me of the actor Saint in general. Both of them play more cute, feminine characters…
I got the same vibe. I actually thought this might be really well produced shade throwing about the management company that spread those awful rumors about Saint. I’m waiting for that producer to try to ruin AIT ‘s career Someone with a lot of talent put together an incredibly well done FU to someone else higher up in the Thai BL world.

We have been spoiled in the US with the era of so called peak TV. But I can think of no drama that surpasses the script, acting, cinematography, directing and incredible story telling of Someday or One Day. It is quite simply a masterpiece.

This show is absurdly cliched in almost every respect, but the acting and chemistry between and among couples…
I thought this was a really fair review. I got taken in by some of the early aspects of the show that were surprisingly honest, low key and heart felt. And the title song gets me weepy every time. Episode 3 leading to a very poignant kiss scene and had me using the “this show is special” BL review trope because the show was covering familiar territory but in a really fresh way. And I meant it, there are parts of this show that feel honest and heartfelt even while crashing in a 60 car pile up of cliches. But as unquieted love has become, well, less unrequited, the plot has stalled and the writing stopped being as poignant. My guess is that the bullying story line probably takes it from here. I still love the quiet sincerity some of the actors bring to their roles and the director to it’s laid back pace. But now I guess I want to love the show more than I love the show. It’s like finding out the person you liked wasn’t flawless after all...but who’s perfect. It’s still got a lot of very good about it There is still something special about some of the performances even if the story line stalled a bit.

That might be the most underrated below-the-radar BL of 2020. I can see where watching it from week to week might garner a different viewer reaction (reflected in comments) but as a binge, that was really a beautiful love story. You got the college age relationship blossoming and the work life reality check all in one series. A really heartfelt, earnest little story. No, it’s not going to win awards for originality and the show had story issues forcing the plot along in places, but the chemistry between the two leads made my heart hurt at times knowing those days of earnest, passionate yearning glances of first love were behind me, but genuine in this story. This way exceeded my expectations, though not for viewing in 40 min intallments over a few months. As a binge.

I’m with you. This really hit home and rang true even if the drama was a bit amped up. Queen was my favorite band growing up and the first concert I ever saw...so this show has extra special meaning meaning for me ...and makes me older than Mr. Fahrenheit’s dad. LOL.

Before I tuned in, I honestly thought I’d last one to maybe two episodes before Walking Dead style stupidity of writing, plot and dialogue coupled with monotonous and noisy first person shooter game style action and fx effects would suck the soul out of the series and cause me to delete permanently from watchlist. BOY WAS I WRONG, I clothespinned my eyelids open and knocked out 10 episodes in one sitting. I could not stop. This was a pleasant surprise in every way, but most notably acting from a strong ensemble cast. This surprised me like the reboot of Battlestar Gallactica lowballed my expectations only to wow. Me when it debuted. . I know Netflix dubs to increase accessibility, but do yourself a favor and watch it subbed to appreciate fully these great Korean actors.

I really agree with your observations here. Not to be harsh, but it is almost like someone’s dad owns a production company and a really professional crew was forced to work with the spoiled kid at the helm as a show runner for his 11th grade BL film project. Or hers. There’s a high quality OST. The cast is huge and clearly good looking up and coming models likely with professional representation (still in need of some acting chops) are in the show (9maybe even some pop stars). There’s decent cinematography, sets, lighting, etc Even A pretty artistically shot sex scene in ep 3...pretty risqué by BL standards But the directing and writing, pacing are just not near the standard set by 2019 and 2020 BL shows. I wonder if the genre has gotten so in demand the talent pool is spread thin, and there’s just a rush to get BL shows out there because of the money in it? I’m sure it will get better
