I’m writing this just to express how annoying Mina Sue was in the first few episodes. When she finally gave in to Samuel, it felt forced and lacked a real connection—at least from her side, it seemed so sudden. Not once throughout the show did she show interest in him, yet in the last two or three episodes, she was suddenly head over heels. It felt completely off.
I-Geon is hot, no doubt. People might see him as a 'red flag' for being rude enough to bring up another girl while talking to Go Eun—which any girl would find annoying—but he never hit on anyone else from day one. He even tried to sort out his feelings for Ye-jin just to confirm where his heart truly aligned. This was unlike Go Eun, who stayed confused about three different guys until the very last day. I understand why she chose Sung Min; he provided a sense of security that I-Geon failed to offer because of his overly playful side. However, I still feel Go Eun is her best self with I-Geon.
The cast definitely kept me hooked! Min Gee is 100% the girl crush of the season. I’m so glad she knocked some sense into Mina Sue. Even though I felt a little bad seeing Mina Sue cry after their talk, she needed to hear those words from someone.
Kudos to Hee Sun for ending up with the person she had been looking forward to dating since Day one. I loved how their feelings for each other unfolded. Although Su Been wasn’t initially into it, I’m glad he gave her a chance; I’m sure he’s happy he took the time to get to know her. Still, a part of me shipped her with Sung Hun because, believe it or not, they seemed like the best long-term choice since they are both from the same place.
Regardless, this has to be one of my favorite seasons to date!
