Every now and then I feel the need to have a nice slithering wallow in my own moral grey areas - and this show is feeding that need nicely. I'm obsessed, I'm sat, and I'm loving Zhen Xin's girlfriend... she's an absolute hoot.
How to remove that main couple/second couple syndrome in one easy lesson...make it the same people playing both. I love how in the main storyline Zhang Zhun is like a deer caught in a trap, and in the second storyline his character Gao Zhun is the one laying the trap. Such an interesting show.
Episode 3 when they're in the trailer - at the 35:09 mark they start playing background music that I swear is from some 80's Hollywood movie soundtrack that's right on the tip of my tongue and it's going to drive me frigging nuts until I figure it out

The Alpha family mother and the 2 little girls at Ongsa's café are better actors than everyone else combined. Their dialogue flowed naturally, and didn't have that stilted broken delivery that seems to be common place in almost all Thai BLs. Is that an editing thing? Is that a writing thing? Is that a director thing? When it's industry wide, I can't place the blame on the actors (who don't even speak that way in their fan meets and LIVEs). And oh my word, the subtitles are still ridiculously bad.
