How did I not even know this existed until last night. Absolutely zero news on any of the channels I follow, and then last night every 2nd short was this show that I had never heard of. So glad I started watching. Nerdy top, Gangster bottom. Sounds fun, I'm in!!
The trailer looked promising, but the actual show is giving me the same cheap and poor production vibes as Lover Merman. I'm quite disappointed. I made it through to halfway through the 2nd Episode before deciding I was going to drop it.
I've just finished this and had been aware of people's opinion of the ending...but I thought "How bad could it be?"...and man, I'm GUTTED, and seeing as how my personal motto at the moment seems to be 'Delulu is the solulu', I'm picturing a happier more complete ending while I now jump on Google trying to find an English translated version of the novels. Addicted was good, this was better (the Thai version was garbage)
I'd describe this as a fun watch. I certainly laughed out loud in some parts. Some positions were definitely more of a frottage. In the end I was really rooting for them (pardon the pun). What the hell was on that piece of paper though?
I watched it on GagaOOLala, which definitely has way more graphic content than this, so I'm guessing the pixelation was more for the actors modesty than censorship.

Also, on an unrelated side note...I need somebody to green light a Thai/Korean drama where Peat and Lee Know play the sons of the rival Mafia godfathers, only to find out they are both adopted and are actually brothers separated as babies....manifesting!!
To each their own...I actually enjoyed this. OK, I admit by the time episode 6 finally came out I'd forgotten the story and had to go rewatch the entire series, but it wasn't a hardship. I'd like to see this story fleshed out a lot more because the gaps were glaring. More episodes, longer episodes, more story. The one thing I cannot forgive is the stylist not running an iron over the 2 school shirts in the "trailer" in the last episode.

Having been in a similar work situation as Hiro, my react to his incompetent a**hole boss is visceral. My stomach hurts and I've got a knot in my chest, regardless of how many times I tell myself "it's just a TV show. I sincerely hope the last episode is Hiro and his co-workers taking turns at running over the Boss with a car.
This sat in my "plan to watch" list for a year. Not gonna lie, though I like EarthMix and FirstKhao, I've never really been a fan of GeminiFourth and I've steadily been losing interest in GMMTVs BL output. Well, colour me surprised. I thoroughly enjoyed Moonlight Chicken—it was really one of the better GMMTV shows. And for the first time I even liked the acting of GeminiFourth. All in all, well worth the 2 evenings I spent watching the series.
I have absolutely no experience as a script writer, acting coach, actor, or director - but hey ho, new year new me - might move to Thailand and give it go because judging by some of the drivel being released (and this show was awful, and painful to get through) experience and skill isn't necessary, apparently.

My brain won't compute how old sweet little cutie-pie Tonliew actually is IRL. The absolute mind f**k I get from realising that he's older than 6 of the members of Stray Kids and he'd be in the hyung line between Lee Know and Changbin, while looking like he's a high schooler. The casting team deserves all the accolades for casting that little cutie into the role with the most gut wrenching storyline because who of us isn't in agonising despair whenever he's mistreated
Besides the fact Phraphai is such a POS I'd gladly jump through my screen and b*tch slap him into oblivion....the soundtrack is so bad it's b*tch slapping ME into oblivion. I've spent half of this show with the audio muted
