I've seen far worse films. feels like a precursor to Parasite and The Handmaiden. Some very graphic scenes. Nice to see now familiar faces in their earlier roles. For some reason this is listed as a comedy on my viewing platform. There are some LoL moments but not enough for it to be described as comedy.
I don’t think the issue lies with the actors’ performances. The problem is with how the director manages the…
I agree. it's about the directing. This is the director's first kdrama and it shows. He's previously only done films. The budget must have been spent on the actors because this show looks cheap.
Kudos to the actor who plays the copycat wannabe guy with glasses. He was great and really rose to the FL’s…
the FL drew me into this with her charismatic acting. it's minimalist and relies on expression. The other actors are struggling to keep up with her. ML has taken his top off in every single drama I've seen him in. (about 4 now).
This looks funs. Enjoyed the first episode. Not gonna lie, it feels like they definitely took some inspirations…
also: the haunted Palace, CLOY, first night with the Duke, love in the Moonlight, Queen Woo, Dear Hongrang. lots of references to recent and not so recent Sageuk dramas. She hasn't gender swapped so I think that makes it different from Mr Queen.
Did anybody else get Scooby Doo vibes? 4 teenagers and a small child in a van fighting villains? I enjoyed the show and overlooked some of the more preposterous elements. The henchmen were utterly useless. The world's smallest woman managed to defeat the lead henchman on numerous occasions. The evil villain was REALLY evil.
