How can you give this drama 5/10? C’mon, the soundtrack and cinematography alone deserve 5 points. lol. I guess everything is relative because I enjoyed it A LOT.

P.s. I agree with your previous comment. The ML is so manly, wish I could see more like him.

Who thinks the ml is about to enter his puppy / golden retriever phase? thoughts? With a few exceptions, I feel like this year has been the year of the flawless mls in modern dramas (good at everything, genius iq, cold to everyone but the fl when they start liking her) and the puppies/golden retrievers in historical dramas (you know, the ones that don’t call the fls out for killing them).

Regarding the express package for this drama - does it also gives us access to the episodes that will be released a few days before the drama ends or is it only to get one express episode a day?

Ep 23: I’d like to know how many days have passed from the hairpin stabbing scene to their reunion at the end of the episode. The drama gives no sense of time, unless I missed it due to skipping some scenes.

I too got confused because I was talking about the ml in Have a crush on you (who isn’t the same ml in Are you the one), then I thought someone had commented that “have a crush on you” is a remake of a Korean drama called “I know I love you”, then this thread became total confusion lol.

ep 23: Why is Zi Yu the emperor now? staged a successful coup/rebellion?

Due to my skipping spree I missed a lot of crucial scenes so…(spoilers)

So there’s no Korean remake of Have a crush on you? I saw “One Spring Night”…didn’t they change the plot in the Chinese version, so that instead of a son, he had a sister that relied on him?

In the drama, before the amnesia, they were a couple (likely just kissed, if even that), but she saw zi yu in what appeared to be a compromising position with another woman, so she broke up with him. Not sure how deep her love for him was, as it has yet to be explained.

Now that she remembers everything, she hasn’t made her move to go back to Zi Yu. It appears based on trailer of ep 23-24 that she will leave the ML and they are introducing a possible love triangle between her, the ml and Zi Yu.

In the book, there is no love triangle as the ml would not have let another man get close enough to steal her away. Also, the fl lusts after the ml and his good looks so she only sees him.

I didn’t know there was a Korean version? what’s it called? Yes, the actor is great but I didn’t like the character at all, and that fl with no personality, and backbone was such a turn off. Why are you rushing to his place to babysit after divorcing him? you owe him nothing!

I attempted to watch the fl’s two previous dramas (have a crush on you and fireworks of my heart), and her character lacks a personality and a backbone in both. Nothing on the actress. It was really the character she played. I ended dropping both dramas. The ml in have a crush on you is one of the worst and you have this no backbone marry sue of a fl giving him her time and day. I could not take it! lol

Ep 20: I find myself completely skipping whenever the second leads appear. I see them, and I’m like “time to skip” lol. I hope I am not missing anything important?

Care to elaborate? how is the ml from the drama different from the novel?
