Totally agree, considering who the leads are.

Definetly better than the ones in ep 30. I feel like the FL was not kissing back. At times, she was a bit stiff when the ML was really trying. They were a bit out of sync. Maybe im too critical, but overall, it’s A LOT better than what I expected!

About to watch ep 31 🍿

1000% Love & Destiny is my fave cdrama of all times. The ml is not pretty boy, he is older, manly and looks the part: God of War. The FL is played by Ni Ni. Both are movie stars, so we were very lucky they starred in a xianxia drama of more than 50 episodes! The acting by the leads was phenomenal.

Yes, Juichen (ML of Love & Destiny) is THE man! He looked the part: God of War. The acting, the presence! Everything was on point. He remains the manliest ML, in my book, followed by the ML from Princess Rebel.

Yes, the first two and three kisses, and then he TAKES command in the book, if I recall correctly! Are we going to be cheated of that in the next episode?

Tbh, I am not expecting no Duke’s “I burn for you” or the King’s “Get in” types of scenes like the ones in Bridgerton series. I just want a kiss with feeling, that’s all.

From what I recall, she didn’t enjoy it at all, and endured it painfully. This is so unlike
many western historical romance novels, where the FL enjoys it immensely on their first time haha

You are right, I just thought of my “never disappoint” actors and a lot of them are from Taiwan:
- Darren Wang
- Chang Chen
- Mark Chuo
- Jerry Yan
- Jasper Liu
- Wallace Huo
- Marcus Chang

I have yet to see him do a proper kiss. Chang Chen has a whole wife and kiss and he delivers when he needs to.

I also enjoy the story and the ml is so manly. Too bad he is camera shy? maybe 😶?

I have considered censorship and it’s very dry compared to other recent cdramas. I wasn’t expecting it to be like the novel (no way) but atleast a proper kiss after the first or two shy ones.

This scene was not memorable to me compare to scenes like
- 40:55 min into ep 13 of Princess rebel
- 3:15 min into ep 58 of Love & Destiny

I am sorry, but I saw the cave scene and the ML is barely moving his mouth. The FL tried, so she gets an E for effort. This could have been epic, but the ML ruined it for me lol. It was not sensual, or anything special.

Maybe they continue on into ep 31?

Still haven’t watched episodes 29-30, but I am going to lower my expectations of the cave scene. This is no “I burn for you” type of scenes. However, I don’t think censorship is solely at play here if the kiss wasnt sizzling enough since I have never seen the leads delivered on passionate kisses.
