Chinese dramas are not for you. If you were on cdramas subreddit making these sweeping claims you'd be thrown out. Cdramas are for the people of China and for people who respect the culture and history of China. You know absolutely nothing about the range of genres and what is popular for the mainland audience. A hint: the ones that are popular for the MDL demography of 15-25 year old girls are not popular or valued for the domestic TV audience.
