Exactly!! Anyone with enough cdrama political knowledge knows how cruel the fight for the throne gets. Even if his brother doesn’t want to kill him, some of those same officials would go behind his back and off NH. A lot of the officials that follow him are also persons who are loyal to his uncle. It’s not that easy to wipe all of that clean. If this wasn’t a drama many of them would’ve switched sides with the move NH made.

Sometimes with family it’s hard to let go but he took her advice and made the right choice. The ppl that see that little slip up as love need to get their heads checked. If he loved his son he would trust him, he would care. Love is an action word. What kind of parent would see their child bleeding out and smile in satisfaction. He knows that if NH loses power those hyenas on the other side would tear away at his flesh but he would still take it. IDC what answers they come up with to redeem him, I want NH to wipe his hands clean of any relationship with his father and brother. Who plots with an outsider to kill their brother?
