Everytime they do a recast for this novel's adaptations, satan happily cuts out a piece of my soul... even if I end up liking the cast in the end, it still worries me until I find out if the actor did or did not the justice to my beloved Zhang Qi Ling deserves. - sorry if anyone comes across this and finds it to be weird, it makes perfect sense in my native language but my english is so-so- I just wanted to rant a little among fellow fans.

As a Xiao Zhan lover from his X-NINE days I watched the untamed while it was airing.... ended up falling in love with Wang YiBo and Yu Bin too xD thanks for the rec! If you have anything else in store I'll gladly check it out :)

Good luck! I bought the set too, now I'm just hoping that the translation this lady did was much better than the editing the book received... I've never seen such poor quality before. (In book 4 there's a page written in 2 different fonts for no apparent reason... and this is just to name one random distracting thing.. Is like nobody read this before publishing it).

You can buy it on Amazon, but only till tome 6.. The rest is not out yet. I've been looking for a place to read tomes 7 to 9 but cant find any translation and my chinesse is not good enough yet to read raws D: I'll let you know if I find anything on PDF :)

There's one problem with that... the nº2. In the novel 2 and 3 go like what you say but in dramaverse we see in the beggining how LZ tries to save him and then he just stares into the abyss while Wei Ying falls... so I'm thinking that nº1 might not happen in the drama :(

In the novel they end up together. In the drama there's a lot of staring and awkwardness but just that since this drama is chinese and they have a lot of restrictions towards the LGBT comunity. It's still very enjoyable :)

I watch here when I'm desperate but subs are often wrong and some dialogues aren't even subbed.... *the things we do for the hype xD*

Same ep as you so I don't know if the drama is there yet, they're pacing it rather different than the novel so is difficult to predict. I can tell you how it went in the novel but if they change anything I might end up confusing you..

funny thing is, as a hardcore fan of the novel I didn't want to watch the drama because I knew it will be censored and without all the gayness. But since I'm also fan of Xiao Zhan since his X-Fire days I thought I'll do my best to go through it even if it is heavily censored (also the reason I was waiting for every chapter, to suffer through it in one go) Who'd knew that in the end I still love Xiao Zhan but Wan Yi Bo gained an unshakable first place in my heart? (Truly living up to the gayness I hoped for, at least as much as they can)

I Hate you all!!! I was dead set on waiting until all 50 chapters have subs, but then I came here and read all the comments and now I have watched the 14 eps with oficial subs twice already and I'm dying of anxiety... I blame everyone in the section down below xD

But really, this is the THIRD time I fall in love with Lan Zhan... such a magnificent character! I really like the way Yi Bo is portraying him <3
(ps: sorry for bad english! also, the first part is a joke, if anything, I'm grateful because I was being a coward towards this drama, too scared that they would ruin it and everyones comments gave me the push I needed :))

I watched this drama on a site that uploaded the whole thing as a single season... So, after the ending I was left searching for a very needed second season!!! as I said of s1, everything is nice and funny but the plot holes are way to many!!

So.. after reading the comments & reviews I've gotta ask.. Is it really only me who found all those plot holes really annoying? It was really fun and all, (I fell for Mo Ran instantly) but, the plot is just.. lame (? I mean, everything about this drama is just so random! Anyways, despite that, I really had fun watching this drama!
