I would like to watch this but I have never seen a CDrama yet. Is there like any kind of propaganda or censorship?
C-Drama's go through their round of censorship before being released... everything that's not "acceptable" is removed before airing. Altough I don't know if that's what you meant by censorship. As for propaganda... I don't think there is any? There's is an obvious plot point that can be underwhelming if you actively use your understanding of chinese censorship "rules" when watching but it's near the end and, in my case, didn't affect my enjoyment at all. It's an extra layer of explanation at most. My recommendation would be... go ahead and enjoy. This is a rather short drama and really fast paced I personally liked it a lot.
Nobuta wo Produce! Back in my highschool days I was obsessed with Yamapi. My first Korean Drama came much later, it was Coffee Prince. And I only started watching chinese dramas in 2018 my first was Oh my emperor. I haven't watched any thai dramas yet but I have some on my tbw.
So far, I do not like FL. If she knew that the timing of her friend's treatment was happening during this training,…
I have the same issue! And then she says that the ML is picking on her because she's the one being irresponsible???? Like girl... you're being en ayesore.
Am I watching a different show!!! Am on ep 6 and barely holding on. Too slow and boring. But the comments here…
So far I'm enjoying it. But I can see where you come from since some chapters have been really hard to go through... For me it's the need to know how they're going to solve the loop but the how is sometimes interesting and sometimes not. Suprisingly this short drama could've been even shorter if they cut out the redundant dialogues and unnecesary scenes at the police station...
Can you recommend me a few titles that have a similar dealing with a time loop? I don't watch lots of contemporary…
Like... the netflix show? I didn't know it was german! I did watch the first season when it was first released and then forgot all about it. I should give it another try... thank you! :)

lol you're right, and that's why I was mostly interested in the j-drama recs she could give. I don't really need help finding occidental stuff on the internet. since I live on this side of the planet too. Still.. thank you for replying to my comment.
Can you recommend me a few titles that have a similar dealing with a time loop? I don't watch lots of contemporary dramas but this kind of setting is to my taste so I would be glad if you had any recs to offer :)
Oh thanks for the info on SCI. I haven't watched it. I'm not sure crime/investigation is a comforting genre for…
oh I get an adrenaline rush too.. but the fact that the plot and characters are rather straightforward in their intent puts me at ease. Romance on the other hand makes me anxious (I get like that meme "kiss already").
For me, this genre is surprising and predictable at the same time, so when life gets too overwhelming this kind of drama give me the balance I need to enjoy some entertaiment without having my emotional balance dying in the process, it should be the other way around but it works for me like this so.. thanks again for this amazing article ❤ and if you have the time to check SCI, you will have a good laugh... I remember wondering how the heck did they pass the censorship (the crime solving aspect of the drama is so-so)
Omg the work you put on this article! Thank you so much for sharing it! this a confort genre for me so I find it very useful to have all this information listed in one single place. I would say tho, in the CDrama Section, S.C.I is quite funny... mostly because the bromance is strong so it has a lot of hilarious moments. Thanks again, this article is gold.
As someone who doesn't like AK I want to ask you something; why do you have the need to be such a bitter hater?…
Late reply. I don't know of you're refering to me but just in case I wanna say that I don't hate him. I just said I don't like him but that's just a compatibility thing., we can't always like everyone... aaaaaaand even if he's not to my liking I'm not petty enough to just discredit his talent and hard work. If you ask me if I'm sad that it wasn't Oscar the one that managed to debut then I would have to say that I am. But AK is a great rapper and actually, from an objective point of view he's more suited to rap for a big group than Oscar. I just wanted to clear the confusion if there was any at all since I don't like to waste my time with ridiculous things like spreading hate over something that's not to my liking.
Oscar, Yetao, Caelan and Hanjiang debut in another group together plz!
This is the comment I was looking for! I couldn't be the only one! They just need to steal Mika from the others so Hanjiang is not alone and we can keep our cp xD
ak untalented ableist flop, good luck dragging the entire group into your ugly mess. feel bad for the rest of…
As someone who doesn't like AK I want to ask you something; why do you have the need to be such a bitter hater? I don't like his personality, but to say that he's untalented is really unfair... he's not only talented but also, like every other boy in this show, he's hardworking. I know that "haters gona hate" and all but it seems to me like so much wasted energy. If he's not to your liking just ignore him and talk about someone you do like, why waste time and energy posting bad things about someone you dislike?
Yes, yes. I feel the same too. But so far i like every Zhang Qiling in every seasons and adaptations they have…
Hou Ming Hao was awesome as Wu Xie, I really liked his portrayal of the character.. I also like Lu Han in Time Raiders, even if that movie was a really weird adaptation, the name and personality of the character was the same and he did a nice job. The Zang Qiling in this one, Xiao Yu Liang is the same actor that made all the flashback scenes in Tomb of the Sea, there was one action sequence that was really nice and well made so I have high hopes for him as a full time Zhang Qiling xD
Does anyone know if Wu Xie magically get a cure for his illness per say?
In an interview Zhu Yilong said that "his character was ill from beggining to the end and he had to portray that" or something along this line so, I wouldn't keep my hopes high on his recovery for now. If I can find where he said that I'll leave you a link :)
