In the next few months we will probably start hearing news on the actors who were chosen to participate. NIF 3 is focused on the Northern Yan Kingdom, with 2 male leads, one of them being Tang Sheng (number 4 at Lang Ya List), who appeared once in NIF 2 books as Xiao Ping Jing's friend.
How does a ridiculous drama like WRTW get a 8.7 rating and this gets a 8.5. This drama is not necessarily perfect…
I think it's because of the following reasons: Different people watch different dramas and rate with different criteria. Not all raters watched both of them. Also, this one started out promishing, refreshing and adult-like only to have the plot go downhill, betraying expectations, while the other looks like an idol drama and (I guess, I haven't watched it) is indeed one. If it delivers on what it promises it will naturally be rated high.
