Apart from the scenes between the male and female leads, the drama only touches on the setting and supporting characters in a very superficial way. The romantic subplot between the second female lead and the second male lead feels forced and meaningless. It’s a pity, because this drama could have had a much greater impact. Ever since the female lead was brainwashed, the developments and the overall setting have drifted along in a rather dull and blurry manner. By the way, really like OST though

For me, it just another propaganda chinese tv show, which chinese government want young people live like this, do what everything to make china greater, stronger. its very different from western thinking. When i watch this drama, i feel like my mother teach me how to live, to get good life.... kind of that. its not fun to live like that
