Another gripe I had was with them killing off basically the entire cast (albeit most of the deaths felt meaningful), but then using the cop out of them being revived at the end.
Second half of this series was extremely boring unfortunately. I ended up skipping nearly all the Bai Shuo / Fan Yue couple scenes because it all felt exactly the same. Only watched it to the end because I loved Fu Ling.
Also for a supposed Demon King, Fan Yue is pathetically weak. He really didn't have many moments that showed why he is supposedly powerful.
