I just finished watching it; now trying to binge-watch others on the leaving soon list. I think Kocoah (or however it’s spelled) is removing many/all of their programs from Viki. They have their own streaming service. It’s a shame. A significant portion of my watchlist on Viki is no longer available. And I wish they’d be more specific than “soon”! 😅🥴

That makes sense; I noticed more similarities as I watched. I like it: somewhat predictable, but with unexpected twists, reimaginings.

I’m almost through episode 2, so not far into the story, but getting some unexpected Gone With The Wind vibes (American movie based on a historical, American civil war era fictional novel)! FL is Scarlet, ML is Rhett, and there’s even an Ashleigh (FL’s crush) and Melly (her crush’s intended bride)! It might go in a totally different direction, but I couldn’t help but notice the parallels. 😊
