Mutineer

I enjoyed all three episodes so far and genuinely believe this series is off to a good start (even if it's not *perfect*, admittedly). Each week, I finish the episode thinking "this show is so cute and delightful, hehe! :3" But then, I go online and the negative opinions are SO different from how I feel that I don't even know how to address them. I doubt I'll change anybody's minds if they're intent on hating the show, but I just wanted to speak up in its defense from another perspective. The characters are flawed but lovable, the storylines are silly but engaging, and the show is a little misguided sometimes but also very sweet and well-meaning. The series is super enjoyable for me and I'm glad I'm watching it!

The first episode was...perfectly fine? Sure, it didn't knock my socks off but it definitely wasn't as bad as some of the comments made it out to be. There were a few cute moments, a few awkward silences, a few charming interactions, and a few jokes that didn't land. I finished the episode with a smile on my face and I look forward to seeing the next episode. Also, Yihwa's telephone bag, I want one.
