Just went on Deng Lung's International Fan Facebook web page and there's an update on his restaurants they had to remove his name and change the decor down to the utensils out of fear of retaliation from netizens. People are out there protecting him, which is good to hear. By next month the Chinese government and netizens or whoever is pulling the power strings will be on a witch hunt for some they don't like who don't uphold their standards.
In my opinion, Deng Lun was getting too popular, and popularity comes with power with the Chinese government. All was well when he worked for an agency that literally squeezed his talent and life essence to what to have most on the shelf. Everyone is looking at the picture of Tax Evasion. It was apparent at 25years old, he decided not to work through an agency and opened up his studio, and fought for decent scripts to suit his talent and acting skills. If he travels to Japan, Thailand, where he has a significant following, who has time to say "hey did you look at the taxes or paid them"?.Come on, people ; yes, we all abide by our government and pay taxes, but we handle our taxes from maybe one or two jobs. But like a friend recently said, "the best way the government can take you down is with unpaid taxes." Also, his studio got too big of itself by putting up an enormous billboard that covered a whole building. When I saw that I was ooh, "they stepped in it now, then within a week", Deng Lun was hit with tax evasion. Even Marcus Here on Youtube said 1. Did he try to evade paying taxes? 2. Was someone trying to set him up/get him. 3. Can he come back after his social media and endorsement were deleted and dropped? Deng Lun will survive because he fought his way from obscurity to the most influential person. And he was asked what he would do if you are unable to act, he said I'll become a chef(He owned 3 Hot Pot restaurants Lol). He's 30years old and still has his life ahead, I believe that good karma will follow him, and he will rise above it all. I hope one day that we can watch Night Wanderer, so we all can cry like we did when we first watched him in Ashes of Love, and it haunted us for a long time. Those are the Janine Chang and Allan Ren idol fans. It's not cuz the drama is good. My opinion is the main leads are mismatched!! FL is a season actress playing a free spirit and it's not believable. If it was an actress like Olivia Wang who has played that type of character. The bromance is cute with Allen Ren being undercover cop with the villain. It's a drama not to be taken seriously in my opinion.
To enjoy this series, don't take it too seriously. It's so crazy and funny :D
