I totally agree with you! I also regard them as checkpoints or like Highlight scenes. Every one of those scenes were done soooo well. And I love how they are constantly providing us with checkpoints and highlight scenes as we go forward
A'sun's mum would rather die than see her son kowtow to someone like She'er. And A'sun is a man with high pride. It was amazing how he didnt just get on his knees the moment She'er asked him to. He fought and resisted until he himself took the decision That scene was so beautifully written and executed And She'er's shock when he realized that she died. And them instantly running for their lives, cuz they know A'sun will loose it. That whole progression from the moment A'sun entered the camp until he left was just amazing
