Yanrou's wife is actually what he always believed Minglan to be. Minglan used to hide under the calm and virtuous woman who rarely shows her smartness. But she is actually a lot more complicated than that, way too much for him to handle. His wife, however, is just that, she is also very smart and calm and virtuous, just the way he always imagined Minglan to be. And his moment of realization was the best. She is also very smart, in the way she was able to get him to notice her and for her to get over her jealousy to see the bigger picture.
That Sheng Father is such a disgusting pig He is always cowardly and only know how to exert strength when it concerns his reputation, even if it meant going against what is right. 70 episodes and he is just as unfair and stupid. Cant believe he is hitting his son so badly!

Yes, this is exactly what I mean. But also, he doesn't really understand MingLan, she is way too smart and far sighted than him. In the long run, she would have had to either hide herself, or he would suffer with her
78 episodes?!? Am I going to get bored halfway through or what?
I am up till 26 so far, and I am not bored at all. I usually drop dramas very quickly so even I am surprised I am still going. It takes time for the story to build up, but each episode is filled with events and no filler episodes so far.
Up to ep 26 now, and I really dont want her to marry the Duke. I just dont feel for their relationship at all. They just dont feel right to each other. He is too naive and hardly understands the world. She is way too wise and foresighted. Besides, if she enters his house, she will have to live a hard life and to always hide her talents and what she can do. She won't be able to blossom with him. And he is way tooo sheltered to protect her or keep her safe. He thinks he can, but he really wont be able to.
Yes!!! I really loved that even when he forgot her, he stayed by her and loved her. He didnt just leave or act cold like most dramas. And it was so frustrating that it was the sister's wedding! I think the secondary couple got all the cute scenes meant for the main ones. But it was still so cute so I am not that angry any more
This drama is so good! I enjoyed every bit of it and binged the whole thing in two days
The characters were really good, the stories were nice, the development was heartwarming, and the way they interwind the classical music pieces into the story throughout the drama is really good
You should give it a shot and judge on your own. It might not be everyone's cup of tea but I enjoyed every second of it!
I don't know. I just watch the first episode and while I like both male lead, the female lead kinda annoyed me.…
I was kinda not too sure about her at the start, but then I liked her. She isn't annoying or behaving out of place or burdening anyone. And she actually helps out and is her own (not dependent on everyone around her)

Even though it was over 70 episodes, I still hoped we can get even more! It's such a good drama, I wouldn't mind even more
