Many commentators have imaginative theories to the "4 minutes", I enjoy them very much. But mine is very blunt and simple, we get more or less 4 minutes of NC each episode, hence the name.😅
Without the ads, this might be watchable. Frankly I do not believe in remake, sure there are miracles like "Cherry Magic", but most are like this one.

This show is about the drama and even the actors said so. Personally I like the realistic plot, I finished "A Boss and a Babe" but I would not want another workplace series like that.
There are plenty of fan service and even abusive toxic fantasy series going, some variety is a good balance. People have different tastes. Some of us just can't bring ourselves to support, for example, "Mame".

So they have switched the stick to a switch and a key, and oh an "automatic" receipt printing function. Without going too deep into it. First, it takes you ages to set it up. Then, everything can and do jam, from the buttons to the roller of the receipt to the switch and key. Everything.
Yes the switch was definitely worse than the stick. Well the money is safe because the drawers just would't come out when you punched the button, drew the switch, or turned the key. And don't you get angry with the key, you would only get half of it back. What to do? Get the screwdrivers out. As my trainer said back then: "Love the machine and the machine may love you in return". 🤣 I didn't understand the joke back then.
Let's not talk about the coupons that the customer would only give you after they demanded for a "correctly" printed receipt. Oh and the returned checks (cheques)! Before the credit card era checks were common. Omg they get returned for silly things like an oil smudge, spelling errors, the 0 6 9 too sloppy, inks from two pens. Yes, the customer's pen went out of ink and she used another one, what was the problem?
Credit card was not better. The machine has sharp teeth they did not warn you about, still does. Those "spare" manual credit cards machines look pretty much the same, only the card's quality was way worse, it would be glued to the carbon paper or just wouldn't fit into the machine. We had to hand write the receipt and stamp them. Btw if you stamped it wrong, it came back along the returned checks. 😅
The money tray. Papers are usually fine, the bronze coins, however. We needed a set amount in a tray to start a cashier, and to audit the final sale in a counted fashion. We had to pay for any discrepancy! Several loose changes were fine, when we got a lot? Hammer them in. When we got coins from unknown countries? Smash it in with the rest! I wonder, is it still the same nowadays?
The support uncle is doing his role really well, a bit too well.
Anyway I like a lot about this series. We have an innocent relationship, in fact the ML is completely clueless. And the supports are normal, not some scheming "friend" or ex or both. The uncle also, well extremely creepy but that's his job. 😂
I would like this more if Taishin can speak faster though. Yes his character is a bit slow and reclusive, now that he makes some friends, he can reasonably pick up the pace.
Anyway I'm gonna binge watching this after this is over, the pace is slow and nothing major will move any time soon, it feels.
