I swear this is the cutest drama i have seen in a while.Kim Go eun is perfectly cast in the lead and she is nailing it.Ahn bo hyun is irresistibly sexy in a subtle way.Woong is such a refreshing male lead.Amazing chemistry between them!! I am so much invested in this couple already.
But lets be honest,the cells are the real star of the show.So freaking adorable,my cheek hurts.The lust cells and woong's humour cell LMAO
My favorite ongoing drama right now and waiting a whole week seems the hardest😷😷

Yes the second half felt too cartoonish and over the top to me.The main reason i loved squid game was because of the realism in it.But AIB failed in this aspect.The character motivations weren’t clear and the acting was terrible at most part.Such a pity because the first half was flawless.

I started watching this show after binge watching squid game in a day.Squid game was fantastic and probably one of my favorite Netflix content till now.I have been hearing many comparing squid game to Alice in Borderland because of the same genre and some even saying AIB is better.So i was really curious and started watching it immediately.The first episode hooked me very much.
The first half is excellent and i was so much looking forward to the next episodes.But thats where it started getting downhill for me.The whole beach arc felt so irrevelent to me idk why.The characters were over the top,annoying and really didnt interest me the way i was attached to the main leads.I really didn’t even get the plot and the purpose of the whole beach thing.please can someone summarize the whole beach plot and the characters motivations to me in short? That would be really helpful.I tried hard but really didnt understand the hatter and aguni storyline and what their pupose was which turned me off badly.
And is season 2 confirmed? I will definitely watch it because of the male and female lead because i loved their characters.They are the only reason i got through the end.

Its basically ruling the Netflix charts all over the world.

Yes the genre is nothing new.But for me,what really sets it from the other titles is the overall execution and social commentary not to mention the brilliant casting.I am watching Alice in Borderline,no doubt the thrill is more,but the realism in squid game attracted me more.I really think it deserves all the hype its getting.

I dont agree with many saying the games were too dull and mild.I actually loved how they incorporated traditional children games to the contrasting horrifying life and death situation.The overall vibes and aesthetics really meshed well with the games.The main brutality of this show was not the game itself but the human psychology,the greed,the capitalism,the social commentary, I loved it.My favorite Netflix original after Kingdom.Though yet to watch D.P.
The whole cast and crew was brilliant and topnotch production.
And none of the those are a major plot hole if a season 2 is in the making.Will be very disappointed otherwise.
Definitely deserves more than 8.5 rating here.

Shim su ryeon and logan lee are the ones who is making this show tolerable for me to watch.Rest of all can go to hell idc.Even bae rona is on par with the other bratty kids and lets not get started on yoon hee after what she did....
But yeah its the most addictive show i have ever watched!!

I have 2 episodes left in the season 1 and damn how addictive is this show! Literally cant stop watching it.I know what i signed up for and was aware of its over the topness,but its way beyond my imagination lol.Applause to the makers for that.
Tbh the character i am most disgusted with is oh yoon hee's character.I am so disgusted with her that i cant even sympathise with bae rona and really dont care about her now.I am still not over Min seol ah's death and still tramautized over it.She was the only one who deserved any rights.But obviously she was too precious for this toxic show and had to die,sigh.I know her being murdered is the whole plot of the show,but i really cant forgive any of these characters involved with her death.They all deserve of whatever's gonna come their way.The only reason i am staying is for Shim suryeon and logan lee.They are the only ones i can really stand here.And the only kid i can sympathise with is ha eun byeol.She is clearly mentally instable and needs help.But ofcourse she has the only and cheon seo jin as her mother.Seo jin and joo dan tae deserves to rot in hell and are way beyond redemption.But for some reason,theirs are the scenes i enjoy the most lol.
I heard this show is gonna get even more over the top and ridiculous as it goes forward.But i am here for it😅😅
And now please someone let me know,if oh yoon hee's character gonna get any better and get redemption arc,because honestly cant stand seeing her face.Only then i think i can continue!

No matter what,i am here for my girl nabi.Her character has frustated me many times,no doubts.But i always emphathized with her.She was literally groomed in her first relationship,emotionally and mentally abused,manipulated.Then she finally had the courage to break from this relationship.She never knew what a healthy relationship looks like.And not to mention she comes from a broken family.Her mother serving as a terrible role model.And then she gets attracted to a typical playboy who sweeps her off the feet.Then they get entangled in a no strings attached,no label relationship.Nabi literally didn’t have time to catch a break.Yes their relationship was completely consensual no doubt.But it eventually left her emotionally exhausted from all the push and pull from the other side.Wouldn’t it be natural to be confused and indecisive all this time,when the boy she likes has been giving her mixed signals and leading her on everytime?But my girl is finally learning better.She is not getting swayed anymore and i am very proud of her after watching episode 9.And someone explain me how is she two timing the boys? She is literally trying her best to ignore jae eon and also rejected dohyuk's confession.She is not leading him on!She is comfortable with him as a friend and it's understandable that she doesn’t want to lose her childhood best friend.Idc who she ends up with.My girl being happy and thriving in her career and growing as a mature successful women would be a happy ending for me.This is her journey and i am here for it.
Also i dont agree with dohyuk being called creepy and obsessive.Yes he may seem clingy at times.But who doesn’t get clingy when in love? And him inquiring nabi about jae eon's feelings for her seemed genuine concern for me.Friends do have the right to be concerned about your wellbeing.And jae eon has all reasons to be suspicious of.But i wish dohyuk was less judgemental though.
Again,jae eon isn’t inherently an evil person.He seemed to genuinely grow feelings for nabi.But it grew more from jealously and insecurity,which is not really healthy.And the outburst he had in the rain was very petty.This was his chance to show his feelings and sincerity to nabi,but he chose to be a jerk instead.If nabi doesn’t choose him in the end,thats completely on him.
They are all flawed characters and thats the point of the show.In real life,people are frustating and makes all the wrong choices but also grows from it and can learn to be better versions of themselves.I desperately hope the show ends on a great note and we get a proper closure of all the characters!!

If it would follow the webtoon,it would've to be a webseries instead.The webtoon was very short.Ever since it was announced as a kdrama,it was obvious that the storyline will be altered and some plotlines will be added.And its not like there are 16 episodes like usual kdramas,its only 10 episodes.I really dont see the problem here.

Jae eon and nabi lovestory frustating? Definitely! But cliche,nope.I am not even sure it can be called a lovestory.

Exactly! This is not a conventional loves story where the main leads will end up together no matter what and all their issues will be solved magically.This drama was never about it.People complaining about the leads having so much toxicity,bad communication and being so unhealthy together unlike the usual kdramas they watch,are actually missing the point.We are not supposed to root for them together.Its mainly about their individual journeys and how they much they will grow from it and reflect on themselves.But people are not still ready for this kind of conversation ig.

Dohyuk was actually annoying this episode.But it also felt realistic though?I mean all this time he was made to be the perfect and flawless knight in shining armour guy.But the insecurity and jealousy he showed made him more human and relatable ig.I mean everyone else is so flawed in this series,that he felt out of place to me.But yeah all these claims that dohyuk deserves better than nabi is absurd to me.Its now completely on him to still pursue the girl when he has clearly been rejected.Nabi doesnt owe anything to him.

People going overboard with second lead syndrome and completely disregarding the female lead's feelings and emotions and calling her a bitch.

Dohyuk hasn’t officially proposed though.She should definitely clear things out with dohyuk and starting a new relationship should not be the solution.She needs proper time to heal and reflect upon herself.And nabi did try her best to avoid jae eon at all costs.But he keeps finding ways to coming onto her and making her preoccupied amd confused.
