These other reviews gave me too much hope

The reviews I read about this show gave me some hope of good story with endearing characters, but what I got was a terrible story and lukewarm characters
honestly I wouldn't even recommend watching this for the experience, you'll be left disappointed and not even sad just wondering why everyone (besides the actors I think) gave up on everything they set up for the story

NO FILLTERED SPOILERS
I wanna start off by saying this about the two main couples
1. Phob and Phat; Though the interactions between these two was really cute I just didn't see where it was coming from, it just suddenly happened and I was not happy about it. Also the fact that they slept with each other weirded me the f out 'cause...what- WHAT? WHY??? I don't care if he has more of his memories an thus is more corporeal now, that's a dead, the visual of it is weird because the writers want to treat Phob like he's alive (like clothes off and sweat) but he's NOT, I wish that if them sleeping together had to happen it was more...ghostly (I know it sounds weird)

2. Dream and Lak; I'm gonna be honest with you I didn't even get the vibe that they were dating (maybe it was the translation but of well), so when she said they were breaking up all I could think about was her super comfortable interactions with Phat and the none existent one with her actual boyfriend and wondering if the writers don't know how how straight romance is supposed to look like. their chemistry was nonexistent and it was so sad how the writers thought they could make me care about them at all. 'cause I didn't

now the story
There were moments in this story where I thought it was like cooking water on a stove to make some tea; I thought it was gonna get to a boil, I just I had just give it a bit more time, but it never did, so it went from normal temperature to lukewarm to completely cold while the fire was still on
I don't care that by the end it seems like it was an open ending to maybe a potential second season, what I got from this sucked because it just felt rushed and most of the story lines were dropped, like literally, I'm just supposed to assume that episode 9 where Lak was talking about the light taking other people was to be connected to the the potential second season but that's just some bull the story didn't make me care enough about when it was first mentioned

but my biggest gripe was with the story and character of Nuan
you mean to tell me that Nuan, the landlady, Khins (Phob's dad) stalker, the weirdo who installed cameras inside the the house she was renting to spy on her tenants(also I believe she was spying on Phobs family when they lived there), the freak who also came into said house in the middle of the night just to sit on the sofa of the person she was stalking, and who also was able to see the person she was stalking's dead son not being able to pass over but did nothing about it, get's to face no consequences and live on as if she isn't a dangerous mentally ill person? why was I even hoping for something there

I know I'm sounding overly critical of this show, but believe me, I did like some of the things they set up
I like the fact that Nuan had a broken relationship with her father and in the end she was able to mend it in some way before sending him off to pass on
I liked Da (Phobs mother) complicated feelings towards her child because by having him she couldn't pursue her dreams
I liked how Phat submitted Phobs design to the NOVA competition (how that would have concluded if he won would have been funny)
The series had very complicated storylines planned out but none of them had a proper conclusion, and for it to simply be left to a second season isn't how I feel things should be left to, because I feel like none of the storylines had any conclusion, or not the conclusion it deserved

Started off great but ran out of ink towards the end

I'll review this as if it's a printed out paper

the first lines are strong and bold vivid words, maybe the ink went too strong in some places but nothing a little setting aside to let dry wont fix
as it continuous on to print it's stays consistent and though not as bold it's still very much readable, every sentence is well printed out
in the middle it starts to pick up vividness from the start again, this time no heavy ink, just trying to make sure that the words are seen
then towards the end it's like the printer got jammed, though some lines are really well printed it's like some words were skipped over or entirely messed up, and though you can understand what the story wanted to say it's not a well printed out sheet of paper

simply put; strong story and characters but a weak ending, still a very good watch, would definitely recommend
