Ikr I have the exact same opinion as you ... people are judging way too hard .. he was not exactly a mumma's boy he tried to take stand for his gf but his mom ignored him and he was also not rigid like Gwan Sik and also YB resented his mother for the whole life ..yea Geum Myeong was right to walk away it was better to stay away from that family ..and also YB grew up while staying in his mother's shadow that's why he was weak and had no backbone to stand for his gf while Gwan Sik was also raised in a patriarchal family but Gwan Sik spent most of his time with Ae Sun than he spent time with his family his whole world revolves around Ae Sun it can only be possible with childhood friends...yes YB was not right but he was not a bad guy either
