Ming

I have to say that even though the main reason I watched this movie is only because of Soo Hyuk, this movie has successfully left a strange feelings in me. I feel like I'm so sad but so happy at the same time seeing the innocent love that growth between Soo Hyuk and Min Ji. It has a slow pace story and deep meanings in every scene. Especially the flashback ones and the animations one where Soo Hyuk did the monologue. Soo Hyuk's character itself is so mysterious with a sad past. His girlfriend left him and because he felt so heartbroken and sad, he went to Busan, met the girl and fall in love with her. His new feelings towards the girl helped him to forgot his ex and that's why he couldn't remember his ex's face that was replaced by his new lover.

At first, I did not understand the ending at all. But after I read several reviews, I gradually understand and when I watched the ending again today, i have a theory that might help you guys understanding the ending better.

So, At the end, the girl said that eventually, Soo Hyuk did not appear ever since then and several people said he was drowned in the sea but the girl's friend said that she was only dreaming about him. According to my theory, maybe what her friend said was true. Maybe the one that drowned in the middle of the movie was Soo Hyuk or maybe when Soo Hyuk first missing he was drowned and when he came back, it was only in the girl's dream because Soo Hyuk has finally found the door to the girl's dream. And for me the, saddest part was when the girl said that the night she finally could sleep well is the night where Soo Hyuk gone :(

In conclusion, I hope that Lee Soo Hyuk could play in a drama or movie where he gets the girl and be the male lead! LOL~
