I’m enjoying this show but I think they should have done the flashback episode earlier.
At this point they obviously aren’t getting together until the end. Would have been nice to have more episodes of them together without the angst.

For what it’s worth (and I haven’t read the novel so I’m speculating) Tong is playing Ming and his sister as they are from a wealthy family and he wants to get rid of Joe as he doesn’t want to lose his hold over Ming. I hope there is karma coming!

Quite enjoying this series, but, think 40 episodes is too long. Should move it along at a better pace. Almost halfway and not much evolving. I guess that’s how they create 40 episodes.

First episode was fun. Looking forward to next week.
