I'll leave no spoiler but this is the first sci-fi (fantasy/wuxia/xianxia) chinese drama that the end wasn't heart wrenching. I literally gave up on them this year and went with Korean dramas. Jeez the heartbreak was too much! Someone called the stroy writers "saddist" and they weren't wrong. I'm hoping going into 2026 the writers of chinese movies can stop with heart breaking ending especially after they suffered greatly!

We all have who we like ans who we don't. but like PURPLENIGHT said below , did you watch the whole drama? Ming YI saved Ji bosai and he did the same countless times even when she was lying to him. He protected her without asking why people were after her and gave her a princess type of life basically. One thing that moved me about him was he never said NO to anything she asks. NOw he's not perfect but he let her be.

So basically she was ill and they her making her payback fees, costs and contract breach fees? Am i right? if so from a business point of view that is WRONG! The whole point of an Agency is that they are bigger & have resources to protect these Artist and no contract should make any HUMAN BEING pay for being ill! This should be no no! They are not machines, as an Agency that is what they are there for to minimise brands losses by solving the problem with their vast network! Otherwise what is their use? Just to make money off Artist and bow out when Artist has problems? The Artists in China need to start fighting back... not easy buy if you want changes it need to be done..... WE your fans will support you all!

You're right they do see the artist as "commodity" to use and abuse. But if they want the system to change the artists have to speak out and sue them if neccessary. But With Hollywood you don't hear this as much because they have had years of fighting against such agency practices.

I haven't read the novels, Most likely won't. I love movies... Hope they continue in the future but from what I'm learning about Chinese Movies they change actors on the next Seasons. They don't keep the same 🤨

Yeah, you're right. If there's another Season then it'll be 2025/2026 as this says 2024. That's why I like to wait & watch all the Sesons together. Would have loved to see you know who get her ass kicked royally!

🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can feel your annoyance. Out of all the movies I've watched, I'll say this is only the second one that has such a tragic ending and I think I've seen maybe 10 now check my profile. But I didn't fast forward them I don't know how you can fast forward like I've got patience to watch them through and yes this writers have issues 🤣🤣🤣
