Happiness Chocolate is the sort of drama you should watch to feel good if you've been worn down by too complicated story telling like back stabbing, revenge, political intrigue and melodrama. No brainer kind of plot, uplifting fun with a bit of fairy tale ending which I hope nobody dies and everyone live happily ever after! Both leads demonstrated good acting skills but I do have an issue with second female lead's plastic performance. I like Lei Mu and Kenneth Tsang roles,

I think more to come in later epi..so can't say how bad it is as it's just started!

Yes, it was a happy ending all right, just didn't like how it was not wrapped up nicely with her father's acceptance and the time gap of him being stranded and never saying sorry for all the hurt..then time passed and happy ending.

I binged watch Mr Right right after your comment Found the ending and reflections by the male lead a bit more satisfying than Old Boy's ending. Overall I enjoyed both both Mr Right and Old Boy throughout.

Yes, ended with a quick wrap up with 45, a bit disappointed with gaps which could have shown a reconciliation scene between the leads...after all he hurt her so.

It's cos the villians have the interest of their loved ones at heart, however mistaken it may be under jianghu rules. I feel sorry for An Yelou too.

Why is there so many repetitive flashbacks which is beginning to make me feel like an idiot.

Write up and rating should give more credit to this movie. I enjoyed it for short and sharp story telling, leaving one to guess what happened in between the timeline and it is a happy ending for female lead.
