Me too. Didn't mind too much when the cap on number of episodes make it look a bit rushed with narration but omission is being perfunctory to viewers.

It would have been nice to have Tilan character portrayal closer to the book than just praying and weeping. After going through abuse she deserves a happy end and not as I anticipate dying after childbirth , saving the emperor from being slain , etc etc

Yes.. to me XKC is a younger version of Tony Yang, especially when wardrobe are dark coloured! I did not see that resemblance so much in A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College when his wardrobe was mostly white.

Don't like the ML character at all. Too selfish in his own pursuit at the expense of FL. Seriously, he lack empathy and understanding for the FL in wanting her to repeat his mother's position in the family. His love for her came about when he realised the support and value she possess in furthering his career at the beginning. So yes, I rather see FL being successful and remain single, (or she could start a friend with benefits relationship with Tony and turn him into a saint!). ML should just marry 2ndFL and continue to be mummy's boy.

I don't follow her opinion. She has pretty good funny rant videos and she should not use her grading goldmine / landmine unless it is objective and free from her own personal preferences. This drama is what is required in this challenging time, pure comedy.

Absolutely diabolical to leave the cat in the cage and on the roof terrace under the sun, rain and wind. That guy should be sent to cat abuse correction center and sentenced to community work. Same sentence for the girl as accomplice and for not reporting him to the SPCA or whatever equivalent organisation in China. Buying fancy food and the toy does not absolve poor pet ownership. There.
