I'm really enjoying the story and cast are excellent in their delivery. A must watch for viewers who reminisce the times when HK is known as pearl of the orient, to see reasons for 1997 exodus, why some chose to remain and others to return thereafter.

I like it how every character is a star and lead in their own story. Didn't mind not having a perfect happily ever cliche end. Gives me hope and joy being an ordinary person living an ordinary life is just as great if you believe in what you do.

ML is salt of the earth, unbelievably awkward and incredibly sincere. No annoying characters and no love triangles.

Kudos to the FL for her maturity, I'm liking her character so much. As for the ML wonder if there is really a such a character in real life, so undefiled. I'm shipping 2nd FL with the sifu for a happy after.

Each one has a good and fitting ending but I just wish the step mother would not be too lonely and the father hadn't die.

Totally agree. I cannot see a character development in her at this time. However pity if her life turns out to be what novel readers have said.

Her stabbing from the back is truly underhand and mean. Script writers made the Tianshuang sect look so weak and meh. The sect leader is full of chivalry but failed quite badly in the jianghu game. Think of his advice to BFX to be careful and vigilant of danger but next minute ended up all shrivelled up like a raisin. Sigh, terrible scriptwriting.

He may be just acting his roles well. Maybe it was the producers who found him perfect for possessive and abusive character depiction based on his previous works. Guess there isn't any Detective Dee in the pipeline and he still need an income from dramaland?

Later how funny the way he sulked and claimed the movie was not funny at all when he meant the live show!
