The first 5 episodes left me salivating and wanting moreeeeee! This is sooooo good! I hope it keeps getting better! It's been so long I watched something so satisfying and intriguing since LLTG
If you want a drama that will give you EVERYTHING you want in a ROMANCE drama, this is it. I particularly love how the writers snub the cliché stereotype of the man always being the forefront to initiate anything. This drama stepped right over all of that, and it is refreshing to see. If there were a higher rating, I would give it. This drama had me kicking my feet, blushing, screaming, and smiling till my cheeks ached.....gosh....How do I move on? This was a masterpiece !
Her comment gave me ONE SPRING NIGHT vibes. From a Korean POV it makes sense to include it. But from western gaze…
I share the same sentiments with you and it's why I commented. The way she said it was just off and it felt like it was not coming from a place of love or understanding. Maybe it is the translation since I don't speak korean
I find myself thoroughly enjoying the drama—it's a solid 9/10 for me so far. That said, one particular moment has really stuck with me, and not in a good way. The FL’s best friend's comment about the ML having a "flaw" because he has a daughter was jarring, to say the least.
It’s 2025. How are such outdated and warped sentiments still being written into characters—especially one who knows the ML and his daughter so well? It feels particularly frustrating because this friend isn’t just a casual observer; she has a close, meaningful relationship with them. Yet, she still holds this narrow-minded view, which only highlights how people aren’t always who they present themselves to be.
It makes me wonder if this kind of mindset is still prevalent in South Korea today. While dramas often mirror societal norms or challenge them, this scene felt like a harsh reminder that traditional stigmas around single parenthood might persist.
