Thank you so much for subbing this! Does anything sad happen to the dog?
Lighting fast reply! Thank you. :) One more question if you'll indulge me, trying to level up my J-grammar: what does "ni do" mean in the title and why is it in katakana?
Was anyone in NA able to watch this successfully on Amazon Prime with subs? Even when I change the language of the show or app to Japanese I only seem to be able to watch it dubbed. 🤨
It started 9/17 and will be 3 episodes. A subber on d-addicts has announced subbing. They're done with the first episode but they're waiting to post until all subs are done. Looking forward to it, so long as nothing happens to the dog.
I haven’t watched this yet but can anyone who has watched it share if this is worthwhile?IMHO from the synopsis…
This movie is a direct sequel to a J-drama from a few years ago, so I definitely recommend watching that first. I haven't seen the movie yet; I think I've seen Mr. & Mrs. Smith a long time ago, but I remember that had a very "Hollywood spectacle" vibe whereas the J-drama at least is fun but more character-driven. I loved the J-drama, it's really enjoyable.
Off-topic, but one poster mentioned a concern that Aoi and Sora would be interested in the same person? I haven't…
Oh yeah I imagine the puppet is an odd hurdle. Really curious to see what it's like. I enjoyed Tengoku to Jigoku a lot, though I felt it went an episode or two long. Not at the upper echelon for Morishita-san's works for me but still very enjoyable.

Thanks, that's next on our list! ^^ We were just finishing up Tengoku to Jigoku before this one. Usually we only watch one dorama at a time, especially with mixing in a lot of US shows. We watched the 2nd episode of Uchi no Musume though and enjoyed it a good deal more than the first. Really liking where things are going and eager to watch more. I felt like Aoi-san's character was less central and (IMO) a bit less over the top.
I'm really curious how the puppet kitty in Ojisama to Neko will resonate with us.

Just saw I never thanked you for your reply! Thanks chilling! I started watching the show finally. I liked it but I found Aoi-san kinda grating, does she get less immature/over the top as the show goes on?
thanks so much! will check out ore no ie too. i'm glad to hear nothing bad happens. just wondering, what did the mention of "Fukumaru's struggle & his eyes filled with tears " in episode 11 refer to?
can you spoil me please? I'd like to know what kind of upsetting things happen in this show before I start it... thank you chillingindoors!
BTW, since you really enjoyed In This Corner of The World and Uchi no Musume, I think you would really love Hiyokko and Hanbun, Aoi (asadoras by the same writers). Watching Tengoku to Jigoku right now but plan to watch Musume or Nijiiro Karute next. =)
