To be honest, I really had very high expectations for this one, but few first episodes were a little slow for my taste. However, this grows on me as the main story develops. I think the topic that this drama tries to cover is too wide, and it’s a very difficult topic. An applause for Japan’s film makers for such an unique/heavy story. It’s not a regular disaster drama, it describes disaster from government perspective. I’m not sure how accurate it can be, but despite that, this drama gives us a quite complete view of a country facing its fate. I understand that few people find this a little unattractive because of its heavy vibe, I also agree that it’s not ‘super’, but it’s still a very good drama. You’ve got to see a story that you’ve never seen before, and will find values in this. Saying this one is ‘terrible’ like someone below here, for me it’s just a word of hate. This drama deserves more love.
Unexpectedly I am liking this very, very much. Can someone recommend me something similar?
I haven’t watched this yet but if you like this you probably like asadora drama type. Just look around for asadora, you can find something that might interest you!
This is an excellent drama, quirky yet touching, hilarious yet emotional as the same time. It makes me think about a lot of family problematic issues nowadays but also shows us that family love can be that warm and beautiful. Nothing to complain ~ Yes 10/10
This is my 2nd sengoku taiga after Sanadamaru. Still have 2/3 to go but I can say I like this one better. Beside the storyline and acting, I have to mention the music. John Graham did a fantastic job in this. The music background always blew me away, specially in intense scenes.
I watched the ending and like... what? Is Haruka the real master behind the scene? There are a lot of questions involving her left unanswered, like why Sensei mentioned her too many times for nothing, and the original of the symbol is still unknown (if it was from Sensei then I think Sensei was too careless to put that symbol on his wall).
I can't stop staring at Matsushita Kouhei. He's sooooooooooo fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agree! I like him from Remolove and would love to see him in more dramas. He got recognized from asadora Scarlet where he played the husband of the heroine. Still waiting for that asadora to be completely subbed!
Why did the rating in here go down from 8.1 to 7.8 after ep 9? I think this drama does a good job touching some real aspects from love to marriage, also with sence of humor... Was that because of what happened in ep 9?
